Me and my husband were two of the hundreds of people whose flight out of Iceland was canceled due to weather last night. Despite Iceland air overbooking the hotel they took us to (Iceland air’s fault, NOT the hotel’s), which caused me and my husband to wait in line for 2 hours only to not receive a room, this hotel staff went above and beyond to take care of everyone involved in the exhausting and unfortunate incident. They gave cots and bedding to those forced to sleep in the lobby, and they gave everyone involved free (very good) breakfast at the hotel restaurant. We are all beyond thankful for this hotel staff -especially beau (Bo? Spelling?).

位置有點偏，走海邊和中心地標都比較遠，但是離極光中心還算比較近，這個地方算是個中轉站，沒租車的可以這裏報一日團和坐機場大巴！

The room itself was lovely. We requested a King Junior Suite which ended up being the "Pink Suite" which was awesome. The bathtub was large, the water did not smell like sulfur which means they have an expensive filtration system for guests that aren't used to Iceland's notorious sulfur smelling hot water.

This hotel is near the airport and the aircraft landing/taking off can be somewhat loud, however if you like watching aircraft, this is actually a pro. The restaurant onsite is a trap. The breakfast is buffet style and I'm pretty sure the eggs are made from powder.

I did not try the spa, because if you're going to pay for a spa experience, just go to Blue Lagoon or Sky Lagoon. They are famous for a reason.

We also tried the restaurant for dinner, and I understand everything in Iceland is quite expensive, however that dinner was not even close to worth the $120+ we spent on it.

The service is really nice and the room was great. Just don't mess with the restaurant

It is a relatively convenient location in the urban area. It is close to the beach and the church. The parking lot is large and there are many rooms. The mattress in our room is too soft. I am not comfortable with it personally. It is very warm and the lighting is good. It is very comfortable to bask in the sun. . The front desk looks good, and the guests are more enthusiastic when they meet. I didn't eat here, and the price we booked was more affordable than other similar hotels in Iceland.
