We went here on a tour with Diva Destinations and the hotel was perfect for that group. My only regret is that there is so much to do in Reykjavik that I never got to try the sauna.

We were in Reykjavik for our wedding anniversary and were upgraded on arrival,which was nice. The room overlooked the harbour and mountains beyond which were spectacular. It was well appointed but was a bit lacking in space for our stuff we found. In the hotel entrance is a bakery selling fabulous cakes and sandwiches, and after an early start to the day was a welcome introduction to Icelandic cuisine. When we returned later in the evening, we noticed the lighting in the room was very subdued. It was very relaxing but a bit dark when walking about. If it could be called a complaint that was the only one,the hotel is well placed within a nice walk from the centre,harbour and loads of eateries,it's very clean,the breakfast is plentiful and varied,the staff were lovely,helpful and cheerful. If there hadn't been so much to explore we would have spent more time using the sauna and other facilities we never got to see!

We recently stayed here on our honeymoon and loved it! The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and the location was PERFECT - close and walkable to downtown and also easy to walk to the quieter parts of the waterfront at night to try and catch a glimpse of the aurora :)

Gute Lage, freundliche Mitarbeiter, sauberes Hotel, gutes Frühstück, allerdings fehlte uns bei 5 Übernachtungen ein Kleiderschrank, ich empfehle das Hotel, ruhige und dunkle Zimmer, topp, Fenster können geöffnet werden, gute Dusche

Great hotel in a very good location. Rooms are a little compact, but fine for a few days. Very chic interior. Proper coffee machine. Reception staff are very helpful. Short walk to a lot of bars and restaurant but the hotel has Le Kock which was very good value. Bagels are excellent.

Tolles, modernes und sauberes Hotel im Zentrum von Reykjavik. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt - die Betten sind bequem, das Zimmer kann man ordentlich abdunkeln. Das Badezimmer ist schön und geschmackvoll designed. Es ist etwas dunkel durch das viele Beton, aber die Lichtakzente zaubern genügend Licht.
Ein großer Smart-TV ist gegenüber vom Bett angebracht. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen, trotz der zentralen Lage war kein Verkehr zu hören. Einzig den Wind hört man gelegentlich pfeifen.

Das Frühstück ist das beste das uns auf unserer Rundreise durch Island serviert wurde! Unglaublich leckerer Skyr mit frischem Obst. Sehr leckeres Brot welches man nach Belieben toasten kann, auch Toast ist vorhanden. Bacon, Würstchen, baked Beans, gekochte Eier, Rührei, Wurst, Käse und Gemüse. Damit noch nicht genug - Müsli mit allen möglichen Alternativen zu Kuhmilch. Und noch viel mehr.
Wir waren und sind fasziniert von diesem Frühstücksbuffet, bei welchem die Mitarbeiter sehr hinterher sind dass regelmäßig aufgefüllt wird. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon auf das Frühstücksbuffet!

Ps: auch das Restaurant kann man nur empfehlen!

This hotel is an amazing gem, located right at harbour. Super clean, super friendly staff. Breakfast has fabulous multiple choices and the bakery is amazing!! Would definitely stay here again.
