The hotel and its location are amazing. It is a warm and inviting home furnished with antiques and art. Contrary to other comments, our room was extremely well equipped and in excellent repair. We used the beautiful indoor heated pool. Food and service were superb. The hotel stayed open in December for the visit of the Pope. We arrived the next day as everyone was leaving. We were the only guests thereafter which meant there was time for us to get to know the excellent staff. Yes it is very expensive. Don't look at the prices. Just enjoy. Highly recommended.
