HOTEL GRAAL ^{* * * *}

Excited by the reviews and recommendations we stayed here in September.

Unfortunately we found the rooms to be rundown, outdated, awkward (a huge green pillar through the bathroom) and the complete opposite of what we expected from a website that quoted the rooms were 'newly renovated'. No toilet roll holder, the sink and the bath didn't drain easily and our lamp and fridge didn't work.

The service wasn't great either - when we arrived the receptionist was filing, but made us wait until she finished stapling her papers before she greeted us and it wasn't worth the wait. Our fridge broke during the stay, and they offered to fix it, but it was never fixed and they never communicated why, so we didn't have a fridge for the remainder of our stay - which is tricky when it's hot! The staff seem exhausted and over it - which I understand the stress of working in customer service, but it is your job.

The location is fabulous, walking distance to everything you need.

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato soltanto tre notti in questo hotel, conoscendo già Ravello eravamo sicuri solo della splendida vista. Le recensioni non molto buone non ci hanno dissuaso ed abbiamo fatto bene. L' hotel offre una vista eccezionale, confort e camere d'autore, grande gentilezza da parte di tutto lo staff. La professionalità è evidente, il portiere di notte Daniele disponibile e colloquiale. Penso non si possa chiedere di più. Grazie a presto.
