DA CICCIO - CIELO MARE TERRA

Perched on a cliff edge just north of the town of Amalfi, this family-run trattoria sources much of its produce from the family farm in Scala, high above the coast that provides their daily seafood. Spaghetti alle vongole cooked ‘al cartoccio’ and served tableside is worth it for the theatre alone. And they offer a taxi service to and from local hotels.

Da Ciccio restaurant is superb. The brothers who run it went above and beyond to help a group of 6 family members celebrate my niece’s 30th birthday at this establishment during our visit to Amalfi. Everything about our experience was first-rate. The restaurant provided a free shuttle to pick us up in the center of Amalfi and return us there at the end of the night. Before dinner, we enjoyed cocktails on the terrace - with its spectacular views - and then each of us was served the meal of a lifetime. The hospitality the brothers showed and the food they prepared were simply tremendous. My family and I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Our evening at Da Ciccio restaurant was a highlight of our stay in Amalfi and a memorable experience that we will always treasure.

The absolute best meal we’ve had on the Amalfi Coast. On the drive over, we heard about the history of the restaurant, family owned for 4 generations with 4 brothers currently running the operations. The father still farms offsite so they are able to curate seasonal menus with the freshest ingredients. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the patio overlooking the sea where we enjoyed wine and a complimentary welcome appetizer.
The patio terrace is a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. We opted to have the 4 course tasting with a recommended wine and every course was delicious, as well as filling. The waitstaff is extremely attentive and friendly. You can feel the family atmosphere and how much it means to them to provide an excellent experience as well cuisine. We ate at a Michelin star Resturant while in Amalfi and this restaurant surpassed that experience. Cannot recommend enough. And make sure you get the spaghetti in parchment paper!!

Cibo spettacolare e di primissima qualità. Ottima cucina. Qui si mangia veramente bene con prodotti scelti uno ad uno con la passione di sempre. Personale professionale e gentile. Dotato di un parcheggio privato rende questo luogo ancora più comodo. Vista spettacolare e unica. Consigliatissimo. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità del cibo.

This restaurant was so wonderful! All the food we had was delicious! The atmosphere was so beautiful! Loved sitting on the patio and enjoying our Prosecco and appetizers. The staff was very attentive to our every need and explained everything to us. They also offered to pick us up from our hotel. Tried some new dishes which were exquisite! If we are ever in the Amalfi coast again we would eat here again!
