Two problems: The waiter, and the food. First, the waiter seemed extremely impatient and unfriendly when we asked about certain dishes, what was in them. He didnt smile or show any warmth whatsoever, just very businesslike and hurried. We told him several times we were ordering dinner but wanted to enjoy our wine first, but he came back every 2 or 3 minutes, and we felt VERY rushed. He was rushing around in a big hurry, which may be management's fault, if he didnt have enough help. After he took our order, we never saw him again. He never came back to our table the entire meal, though a young woman waiter did. We saw him warmly greet some new diners outside that he knew with big hugs; guess he had time for locals. He was just so cold and impatient with us, then ignored us the entire meal.
The food.: My partner could not understand the special, the waiter talked so fast and impatiently. He ordered the salmon pasta instead, which he thought would come with at least some actual pieces of salmon in it. It did not. Not that we could see. It was salmon flavored sauce, yes, but with no visible pieces of salmon in the farfelle, for $18. Why not put some actual pieces of salmon in it??? Farfelle in salmon sauce, very disappointing. But that is not the waiter's fault; his rude impatient attitude was.
Lastly, we went to pay the bill, and with the SAME waiter standing right beside her behind the counter, the woman manager, very friendly, put us on the spot by saying: "Would you like to add a tip?"
(We always tip, but not for no service). We said: "No, we felt too rushed." She seemed shocked, so did he, and she said "Really??" We just said "Yes," and hurried away. If you treat people like you're barely tolerating them, dont allow them to relax with wine when asked (15 minutes would have been great; we NEVER linger AFTER dinner as many do, so whats the difference?), then ignore them once served, what do you expect? A tip is for friendly service

The food was delicious and timely. Loved the specials of the day. The homemade pastas were delicious. The seafood was very fresh. The atmosphere was also very beautiful, tranquil, and calming. Loved the music and very clean bathrooms. The service was friendly and accommodating and, at times, slow. Towards the end did feel ignored by our servers despite aggressively waiving them down. Getting the check took a long time.

Bardzo żałuję swojej wizyty w tym lokalu. Jedzenie nieświeże, oboje z żoną mieliśmy problemy żołądkowe chociaż jedliśmy różne potrawy. Następny dzień całkowicie wyjęty z życiorysu, a szkoda bo chcieliśmy go poświęcić na zwiedzanie Neapolu. Proszę również uważać na rachunek. Podają nie zamawianą przystawkę jako prezent od kuchni, a następnie inny kelner dopisuje to do rachunku. Przepłacicie około 30 % niż sami sobie policzycie

Our favourite spot in Sorrento. We kept going back the entire trip and will miss it when we leave. Amazing food and delightful staff. The caprese salad was fresh and flavourful. The seafood pasta was incredible and you could still smell the sea when it was served. The side baked potatoes were delicious. The food was served hot and very quickly. A bonus is you get an incredible view of marina grande and mount Vesuvius while you dine. The staff are friendly, kind, personable and accommodating. They are attentive to allergies and care about how we feel about the food and experience. Great cocktails as well. 100% would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

Very good! Nina was very accommodating and welcoming to us tourists. Food was also very fresh and well prepared. Good value for money.

We didn't know what to expect because the ratings were mixed. Taverna Azzurra was amazing! We loved the wine, the servers, the brushetta, the crab ravioli, and the mussels in garlic sauce. The scenery is incredible. The tables are not crammed together like other places at the water front. We wish the owners well in their wonderful restaurant.

14€ le tiramisu minuscule + 4€ de frais de couverts. A ce prix je vais investir dans un magasin et faire fortune à faire des tiramisu de taille normale à 50€.
Toute la carte est à l'image du tiramisu.
De plus la rue ferme à 22h00 donc venez manger à 18h car on vous demandera de partir.

Wir waren heute mittags in der Taverna Azzurra und wirklich begeistert. Die Ravioli mit Krebsfleisch und der Tomatensalat waren wirklich lecker. Sitzen tut man natürlich eh super direkt am Meer.

Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen! Service war auch super und die Preise aus meiner Sicht auch völlig ok. Dass man bei der Lage immer 1-2 € mehr zahlt, ist für mich keine Überraschung. Ich zahle sie gern, wenn ich dafür nett sitze und das Essen so lecker ist!

Amazingly fresh seafood seaside. I had the sea bass and my travel companion had the handmade crab ravioli.. The sea bass was the best I've ever tasted and she swore by the crab ravioli. The limoncello drinks had us ready to sit and enjoy our surroundings the entire day. Those limoncellos had to be fresh! As fresh as the seafood was. An amazing place and the best among all the open restaurants by far with very reasonable prices.

Spróbowaliśmy wiele różnych potraw, wszystko było bardzo dobre. Obsługa bardzo sprawna, fajne miejsce. Zdecydowanie godne polecenia.

Great food and great guys that works there. They made birthday surprise for my wife - I mentioned about her Bday to the boss Gennaro during reservation. Everybody at the tables started to sing for her. Amazing!
But once again: Fooooooood delicious!

Wir haben hier ein Fischfilet gegessen, das sehr sorgfältig zubereitet wurde. Das Restaurant hat eine sehr schöne Lage direkt am Wasser. Der Sevice war sehr zügig und freundlich; das Personal hat uns auf Englisch super beraten können, was nicht immer gegeben ist.

Amazing pasta with seafood. Please come. Highly recommended.

还未到旅游旺季，虽然天气转暖，但大部分店还在冬季歇业中，开到海边就是想找一间当地口味的饭店，看夕阳西下，品美酒尝美食，没想原先mark的一家店歇业，村口看到这家店还开着。 炸凤尾鱼、烤大虾、海鲜焗饭、烤海鲜拼盘，等上桌了发现有点多了，但味道真不错，居然光盘了，完了还要了店里最后两份提拉米苏

Fantastic food, great service!

Se cercate piatti buoni assaporati in riva al mare,non potete sbagliare, scegliete la taverna azzurra. Inoltre il personale è di una gentilezza autentica! La specialità, i ravioli al granchio, è davvero una prelibatezza, costosi sì ma li ricorderete per sempre.
