The best pasta my husband and I have had in Italy-and we met in Tuscany 42 yrs ago and have visited many times. I had the Pasta Alla Nerano. He ordered the Pasta Puccini w Gorgonzola. We had starters of salad and grilled radicchio. Every morsel was cooked to perfection, and the service was outstanding. The wine selection is large with a wide selection of price ranges. We had a white wine from this region which was reasonable and good. Highly recommend this place for pasta, fish or pizza. Their beef selections were also tempting. They are located Via Marina Piccola at sea level. Go early to catch the sunset. They provide a free shuttle to wherever you are staying in town.

I had a lovely lunch at Vela Bianca while visiting Sorrento. I was travelling alone and stayed in the adjacent hotel IL Faro. The manager was really friendly (but not overly friendly) and other staff members kind and attentive. The price was reasonable for the location, specially given 10% discount as a hotel guest. I will definitely be back when I visit Sorrento again.
