We thought our room had a shower...only
a tub....if you stay here be specific and get what you want in writing. They offered us another room with shower but was 75 euros more per night...really!!??
So not really happy...we were traveling with friends so used their shower but not what we signed up for at $250 per night.
Lots of hotels...look elsewhere.

Vista impresionante, si así lo pediste cuando reservas la habitación. Espero volver a Sorrento y a este hotel. En la atención son serviciales y amables, desde el primero al último. Came here for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint!!! About a 20 min walk into town. Amazing views!! Access to a private beach from the hotel. They have a wonderful restaurant for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was delightful. Staff was excellent. They were able to arrange a private car to take us to the Naples airport.

My husband and I stayed at La Tonnarella for our second honeymoon in August and had the most incredible experience. The staff is so friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant our first night and had to go back a second time because it was so delicious. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location with a great view of Mt. Vesuvius and only a 10-15 minute walk to the City Center. There is a private beach onsite with a restaurant and plenty of lounging area.

My only recommendation would be for the hotel to offer a shuttle service around Sorrento as taxis do become expensive. Complimentary towels and beach chairs for hotel guests would also be great. Aside from that, this was an incredible experience with the most incredible views!

Beautiful, classy, good food and gorgeous rooms. Only problem is that you still have to pay for the beach! And it's not a very nice beach. Cheaper than the public beaches but not worth it.

Spent 5 nights here for our honeymoon. Super cute, they have us a welcome bottle. Views are incredible! The room was very clean! We ate dinner at the restaurant which was really good!

Just a 15 min walk into the town so the location was really good!

The people are very helpful and it's beautiful. Centrally located in a quieter city known as piano di Sorrento. Found that it is 8 mins from the larger and more bustling metropolitan city of Sorrento. The rooms are small but comfortable, and the views are killer. This is appropriate as we barely time spent time in our room. Again, it is our sanctuary from the busy day. It truly served as our sanctuary. The staff are amazing. The restaurant Racidi del Sud in the hotel has a delicious and simple menu. We had the octopus . I had clams with spaghetti. Delightful. The service and staff were stellar. We plan to return. I

Hemos ido a cenar y comimos muy rico, muy atentos ... salvo el capuchino que lo sirvieron frío directamente. Le pedimos que por favor, nos gustaba caliente como en cualquier lugar del mundo, inclusive en Italia y aunque lo cambiaron no reconocieron que se sirve de esa manera; ya que para el "mozo" solo se sirve sirve frío. Y de alguna manera sus gestos ya no fueron amables y que lo iban a hacer como a "nosotros" nos gusta. Un detalle no feliz ya que según él fue una excepción

We just spend 2 weeks traveling with family to Rome, Florence and than Sorrento. We stayed at this hotel for our final 3 nights and loved the location and views from our rooms. Easy walk into to town and many good photo opportunities on the walk down. The town was busy because of the time of year so be sure to get a reservation. The hotel staff did a great job recommending and setting up our dinners. We spent our last day swimming and Sunning at their private swimming area below the hotel. The beach area was rocky so we needed to wear our flip flops to walk in and swim which was not a big deal. My kids loved swimming in the boaters waves passing by. There was also a bar and food service at the bottom so we did not need to leave. We were very happy with the staff and the overall experience in Sorrento. Def give this place a look ???? Ciao
