4/5 for the location. Walking distance to the port which is perfect for meeting point during tours, alibus, great view of the volcano. The hostel is in a nice building with code and guard.
3/5 for the rooms and shape of the hostel in general. Really outdated. Bed are not super comfortable. Kitchen is really small. The wall are peeling off, they are dirty and the furniture in the bathroom was barely holding on. That being said that’s what you get for the price. If you spend most of your time outside then it’s enough.
They should have someone on duty during the night. During my last night someone banged the main door for at least 30 min. No one did anything.
