Update 25/02/24, dropped my star rating purely based on the vegetarian option which was poor. Not much choice for veggies but the fish and chips was still great. Service still good too.

I think this place is a victim of its own success. I've been visiting Falmouth each winter for a few years now, and always enjoyed my Friday scampi and chips here. This year, the scampi is off the menu (oh no!) but I waited over 45 mins for the burger I ordered instead. There wasn't much of an apology or explanation for the wait.
The burger was ok and had lots of fries with it.

The place was busy and I could only find a seat near the door. Public service announcement: if it's freezing weather and a place has a double door, please don't hold both doors open as you come in and out, even if in a group!

The beer was good as ever, and the prices on the high side for pub food. Sadly I'll be trying somewhere else for my Friday meal next time.
