Ambiente familiar, muy detallistas, instalaciones nuevas y en definitiva genial. Si pasáis por Girona, es el hotel perfecto.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of old town Girona. Lovely staff. Reasons why I regret my decision booking here: 1. there is no parking nearby, so be prepared to haul your luggage up and down cobblestone streets if you’re lucky enough to find parking half a mile away. 2. There is no Wi-Fi. They say they provide it, but it doesn’t work. 3. The room is lacking amenities I’d expect from any hotel I’m paying a premium for. For example: there is no water in the room, there is no bathtub in the room, and no staff at the front desk. All I wanted to do after a long day of hiking and exploring was relax. Instead I had to search high and low for parking, haul my luggage around town for 20min, and now that I’m in my room I can’t take a bath or use the internet. Not relaxed.

We cannot fault Hotel Historic! Xavi was super helpful and attentive and we just loved our room and our stay! You can snap nice pics of the cathedral from the rooftop! The bells ringing did not disturb us as the windows are well insulated. Heating and AC perfect!

A fabulous, family run hotel in the heart of the old and very beautiful city of Girona.

The original building has been tastefully refurbished whilst retaining much of the original architecture within both the hotel and the rooms. We stayed there on 2 separate occasions during our trip and on both occasions the rooms were of a very high standard. Buffet breakfast is served in the morning with a wide range of items to choose from.

The owners are very attentive to your needs, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our luggage was lost by our airline and was due to be delivered to the hotel just after we checked out to go on a 4 day cycling trip. The owners said not to worry, they would receive our luggage, put it away somewhere safe and it would be there for us when we returned.

Girona itself is a very popular cycling destination and if you are thinking of bringing a bike or renting one not to worry, the Historic has a safe place where you can store them when you are not out cycling.

Also if you're fan of Game of Thrones the hotel is a stones throw away from many of the major filming locations.

We stayed in 8 different hotels on this trip through Spain and the Historic was our favorite, we would definitely visit again.

Fui un fin de semana con mi pareja y la habitación era perfecta, tal cual como en las fotos, muy acogedora y bonita. Las paredes de piedra y toda la decoración del lugar le dan un encanto muy especial a este hotel. En cuanto a la atención, perfecta! Nos atendieron muy bien y fueron muy amables y cercanos. La ubicación también es perfecta, porque está en una calle sin ruido pero cerca de las calles principales donde poder ir a pasear, y a tan solo unos pasos de la catedral. Solamente les recomendaría mejorar el wifi ya que no llegaba bien a la habitación. Si volvemos a ir a Girona sin duda volveremos a reservar aquí.

What a wonderful experience, the place in it self is a treat full of modern and mediaval aspects, the rooms and bathrooms very spacious with window overlooking the old rooftops, at level with the Cathedral short walk away, the breakfast fresh and amazing and is all put together and manage by an also wonderful and amazing family Chavi and Alba and now their daughter which since day one made us feel like family. We're looking forward to our next visit. Saludos familia.

Hotel in piano centro storico a Girona. Restauro molto bello in un palazzo storico. Purtroppo una delle stanza, nonostante fosse grande e potenzialmente molto bella, aveva la doccia con pochissima pressione dell’acqua e il rubinetto si staccava dal muro. il frigobar non funzionante. Non c’era uno specchio in camera, neanche nell’armadio, solo nel bagno. Camera scarsamente insonorizzata. Nonostante questo consiglio l’hotel in quanto la seconda stanza che avevamo preso non aveva nessuno dei difetti segnalati.

Hotel historico al lado de la Catedral, del museo y muralla... dentro del casco histórico; totalmente renovado y súper chic! decorado exquisitamente y al detalle, la habitación preciosa y el baño moderno y super cómodo, desayuno con productos de primera calidad. Atención 10 sobre 10 de una familia encantadora.

Pasamos dos noches en este hotel, ya que queríamos comer en el Celler y de paso descansar y conocer un poco la ciudad.
Esta muy bien situado para visitar el casco antiguo y aunque no puedes aparcar al lado, si bien cerca y de manera gratuita.
El personal es muy agradable y te ayudan con todo.
Las habitaciones están genial, amplias, con buena cama y un baño decente con muy buena ducha. Quizás como defecto es que se echa en falta más luz natural, pero es comprensible esta carencia ya que han preservado la fachada de un edifico antiguo, aún así, la luz en la habitación con bombillas está muy bien resuelta.
Si vuelvo a Girona, es más que probable que repita

Beautiful family-run hotel, warm and friendly reception. The room was clean and superbly finished with a very comfortable bed. We had the loft suite with the hydromassage bath, which was very welcome after a long bike ride to get there (they are a very bike friendly hotel by the way!) The location is in the heart of Girona's old town, the gothic cathedral is just around the corner and there are great restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away. Can't recommend this place highly enough, we will definitely be back. Advice for future guests: book direct via the hotel's website! You get a better idea of the room prices and layout.
