SANGALLO PALACE HOTEL ^{* * * *}

Ho due cagnoline di piccola taglia e mi è stato negato di poterle portare entrambe. Mi hanno risposto che ne posso portare uno solo perchè la policy dell'hotel è queste, spiattellandomi per telefono che spendono 600 mila euro ogni anno di ristrutturazione e che in altre occasioni hanno avuto disagi per i cani ospiti.. Il Sig. Andrea al telefono mi dice di lasciare a casa entrambi i cagnolini. Ho salutato e chiuso il telefono perchè tutto ha un limite. PECCATO e MALE. Suggerisco di togliere il servizio pet friendly perchè non adeguato.

Very quaint hotel, strategically located at the doors of the old town,  so accessible by car (you need to park in the public parking of Piazza Partigiani, across the hotel), the hotel is a really good 4*, and has been renovated since I last came in 2011.

Rooms are modern and comfortable, of around 18 sqm, they ll host comfortably 2 adults, some are lacking of good sound proofing, so I asked to change, and had a perfect night.

The rooms are modernised, mine came with a balcony and a view on the surrounding hills. The hotel has a nice gym and a small but good pool in the basement, and it takes 10mns by foot thru the underground city medieval vaults (must be seen !) to get to the old town center. Check in was efficient even if a bit fuzzy, the breakfast was included and was good. On the con side, unlike all other hotels in Italy, they charge for the plastic water bottle you ll find in the fridge (in all other hotels i have been, at this level, it's free of charge) and they sell you slippers if you need some to access the pool and charge you a towel rental fee for the pool, practice which I find limit acceptable (I went with my running shoes and bathroom towel).

Check out was friendly and fast. Price wise it is on thr high side for the service received, at 150€, but the hotel rooms are good.

Hotel perfetto per visitare Perugia! Torniamo da ormai due anni e lo sceglieremmo ancora. Camere dotate di tutto il necessario, moderne e confortevoli. Posizione eccezionale, in 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro. Colazione ricca, varia e abbondante. Staff sempre cordiale, sorridente, gentile e professionale. Buona la convenzione con il parcheggio pubblico. Piccolina la piscina e la palestra ma ottime per rilassarsi a fine giornata. Unico consiglio, aggiungerei un bollitore nelle camere, se non in tutte almeno dalle superior in su!
