Più volte ho avuto l'occasione di cenare e pranzare in questo ristorante e sicuramente lo reputo uno dei migliori nel centro storico di Lucca. Il ristorante, a conduzione familiare, si nasconde in una corticella proprio di fronte al museo casa Puccini. Interno curato ed elegante dove non ti senti mai a disagio grazie ad un personale gentile e cordiale che lavora con passione e dedizione. Piatti sempre buoni, ben studiati che ad ogni boccone ti sorprendono! Soluzione anche vegetariana. Risotto, il migliore di Lucca!

Simply Delicious!!!
Wonderful service. Mainly locals eat here. The service was great.. somehow prompt when you wanted and at ease/left to enjoy - finish off the wine at the end of the meal, when you wanted space... intuitively.
Tucked away from the typical tourist style restaurants you see in Lucca, this gem is a must visit if you stay in Lucca...

Ci sono stata con mia figlia a settembre su consiglio di una persona amica. È stata una piacevole scoperta tutto molto fresc e ben cucinato ( a parte i paccheri che necessitavano di qualche minuto in più di cottura ) unica pecca per me è che la presenza del cane attorno ai tavoli è meglio evitare. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Se come bien, pero no se si tan bien por los precios que tienen, comimos platos muy ricos y otros que estaban ok, he comido en otros restaurantes iguales o mejores por menos, lo que si es para destacar es la atención, los empleados caminan alrededor de las mesas y están disponibles para escuchar cualquier necesidad de quienes esten comiendo
lo recomiendo, el ambiente es muy lindo

The flavors of each course were surprising and delicious. At the end, I asked for the recommendation for dessert. We shared the exquisite buccellato dessert… Amazing!! We will definitely recommend and come back.

Best meal of the trip, probably the best of my life.

Easily the best meal of our weeklong tour of Italy, probably the best of my life.

This intimate restaurant is tucked away at the end of a small alley next to the Puccini Museum. We stumbled upon this restaurant after being turned away from a few other places due to a lack of space. As we walked down the alley, they began pulling an extra large dining table out from the restaurant for our family of six. We were asked not to sit until the table was perfectly set, and just like that, we were taken along on a culinary journey by the lovely hospitality team at Ristorante Schiaffino.

A Mother and Son team ensured every piece of the evening was meticulously taken care of - the opening bite to cleansing our pallet, a shrimp and cheese croquette that burst perfectly in your mouth. Every bottle of wine was delightful. We ordered over half the menu and shared bites amongst the six of us. The sea bass was called the "best-cooked fish any of us had ever had," and the Rissotto was "perfectly al dente" When they brought us dessert, the food arrived with a smile that told us the best was yet to come. We followed with a small glass of grappa, making for a delightful walk back to our Airbnb.

Perfect for a date, a wonderful time with our family. We tried to go back the following evening for another drink, but they were unfortunately closing up. Would make the trip back to Lucca just to eat here again.

Piacevolissima scoperta del mio compagno, è stato tutto perfetto: dall'accoglienza all'ambiente. Servizio impeccabile, piatti di prima qualità ma soprattutto preparati con amore. Abbiamo percepito tutta la passione e dedizione dello chef che ci ha regalato un'esplosione di sapori rara da sperimentare da altre parti. È stata una serata goduriosa e rilassante. Complimenti a tutti!
