The view from the hotel is stunning that's it... This hotel as all the potential to be a jewel in San Miniato but boy there is some work to do.
The rooms and amenities are really outdated, breakfast was below standard and unfortunately my experience with the reception was less than satisfactory. So if you want a view go there otherwise you'll find plenty of nicer options around.

great hotel, with great service, awesome view, tasty breakfast, clean and cozy rooms, great location in the middle of tuscnay (all the cities of tuscany within a 60min distance)

Siamo stati una sola notte,.durante le vacanze di Natale, paesaggio bellissimo e rilassante . L’ hotel si trova nella piazza del Duomo, quasi sotto la Torre di Federico II ( rigorosamente chiusa????) Luogo storico e d’ arte. La camera molto diversa da quella proposta nell’ offerta: piccola, scarna e con un bagno datato. Non offre i servizi di un quattro stelle.Nella realtà è un tre stelle piuttosto costoso. Delusi. Peccato!!

Hotel storico nel centro di San Miniato, inserito in un contesto di grande suggestione. Pulizia e servizio di buona qualità. Vale la pena provarlo!!!

Ottimo prezzo e ottima vista, le cose positive finiscono qui. Camere non da hotel a 4 stelle, servizio offerto nemmeno da 1 stella, ascensori dal parcheggio delle fate sottostante (4 piani )non funzionanti, abbiamo dovuto fare sia all’andata che al ritorno( 1,6 km ) per raggiungere l’auto dal l’hotel con le valigie. Non c’è stato offerta nemmeno una navetta/taxi. Esperienza pessima.

Charming accommodation, at the very top of San Miniato, hence the rather stunning views north to the 2,000 metre Appennines.
The piazza in front is shared with a large 17th century church that is magnify.
Short walks via steps or flagstoned streets into the medieval town.
Was lucky enough to be here for the first major storm of the autumn, a full on rolling thunderstorm of epic proportions.
All in all rather wonderful

Luogo stupendo, con un grande fascino storico. Eravamo di passaggio e vi abbiamo dormito soltanto una notte. La camera era ampia e l'aspetto che abbiamo apprezzato maggiormente sono stati i soffitti alti e la vista sul centro!
L'hotel è ben tenuto, si trova in una posizione centrale e attualmente stanno svolgendo dei lavori di ristrutturazione. La sala delle colazioni/ristorante è moderna rispetto al resto della struttura. L'unico aspetto negativo? Il bagno Era datato e stonava con il resto dell'hotel.

Struttura situata al centro del paese. Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in una camera con quattro letti. Aria condizionata inadeguata. L'hotel è in fase di ristrutturazione e sicuramente possono migliorare.

Hotel molto bello, posizione spettacolare con vista in valle eccezionale... camere molto pulite e con tutti i confort e servizi climatizzata , bagno con doccia e dispencer con sapone liquido per doccia all'interno del box.

We had a lovely large room, with a great view across the local area. Perfect for a quick stop over before driving to Pisa Airport. Would stay longer next time, lots to explore.
They are conducting some renovation work, but it's not overly disruptive.
The car parking is convenient to the hotel once you fund the right access road. SatNav couldn't!

Letti scomodissimi, mi dispiace perché per il resto è un buon hotel, personale gentilissimo e il servizio è professionale, ottimo il panorama. Peccato il neo in merito al dormire.

Hôtel situé dans un joli village avec une vue imprenable sur le paysage.
Hotel calme avec un personnel accueillant.
Cependant de vrais points négatifs sont présent.
Hôtel trop vétuste pour un 4 étoiles, notamment au niveau de la salle de bain.
Nous avions eu 2 chambres durant le séjour, et c’est dans la 1er que la salle de bain était dans un état plus que lamentable surtout pour un hôtel de ce standing.
Concernant la literie attendez vous a vous prendre des ressorts.
Point positif pour les chambres : propre
Parlons du petit déjeuner… un buffet extrêmement minimaliste .
Très peu de choses, des produits tout prêt et en petite quantité.
La personne du petit déjeuné était seule en salle. Très peu présente…

Location and views are INCREDIBLE and staff is very kind, very convenient parking facilities. However standard of the hotel is not 4 stars (broken and mouldy shower, no condirtionner / body cream and nothing in the room such as kettle / teas

Appena sufficiente, ma non del tutto la reception.Colazione, minimal, un solo tipo di brioche, pane 2 tipi, marmellata in monoporzione, 3 tipi di frutta, 3 tipi di cereali, 2 tipi di spremuta.La signora delle colazioni molto gentile.
Mancano le 4 stelle.
