L'Hostaria le Repubbliche marinare è stata proprio una bella scoperta. Locale elegante e raffinato, piatti fatti con materie prime ricercate e accostamenti originali. La carta dei vini e la carta dei distillati meritano una lettura anche se non si è appassionati! Consigliatissimo.

An acquaintance recommended to pay them a visit when visiting Pisa and it did not disappoint.
Beppe welcomed us warmly and led us into the dining hall, a traditional Tuscan setting up that’s got its appeal. He helped us with recommendations and the food was delicious and flavoursome.
Our daughter loved the truffle and egg spaghetti. We enjoyed the fish of the day smoked sashimi and two typical pasta dishes. The spaghetti “on the board” (seafood in a rich tomato sauce) was to die for.
Paired it with a white Vermentino wine, which was crisp and mineral.
Desserts are also all home made and apt for any sweet tooth.
