Woodfired baked foccacia of the day with rosemary & lardo. Fluffy, crispy, cooked to order, phenomenal! The Salsiccia e funghi pizza was equally moreish. The hint of roasted corn from the fine polenta incorporated through the semolina, the umami of the fermented pork sausage created an epiphany of flavours in combination with the sweet, earthy flavour of the mushrooms. The Farinata, the owner is especially proud of, and rightfully so. Fermented chickpea batter, just set, the caramelisstion on the base....BLISS! If you just gotta have a Pizza ina Pisa, like me, make sure that it's this place. ????????????

Wer dicken Pizza Teig mag, ist hier richtig.
Mein Geschmack war es nicht. Das Bier vom Fass ist gut.
Die kleine Maus an der Mauer entlang zur mittags Zeit, angesichts der alten Mauern nicht direkt überraschend.
