A place to visit again.
Our room is right opposite to the lift doors and near the breakfast room - at first we thought that it would be noisy, but it is very quiet. So the supposed problems became advantage. Also we got a view of the landscape - which was good even in rain.
The breakfast buffet was nice - and the egg boiling machine is a good idea.
The hotel is right near to everything - one can buy the San Gimignano Pass at the Museum of Sacred Art at the street corner and visit all museums covered without much walking. We spent 2 nights there and visited almost every corner in the ancient city.
The staff was nice and helpful, and they checked and helped us to send the laundry to cleaning service (at a cost), and on the next day we got back the laundry clean for the rest of the journey. The receptionist also gave us good restaurant recommendations.
The bar in the hotel building served a fine selection of wines and offered good snacks. (we don't know if the bar belongs to the hotel or not)
