Made a mistake of not reserving a restaurant on a Friday night (our first night) here. Called and spoke English to a very nice man who was able to sit us in 30 mins. We hustled! We were greeted almost as family and sat and had an AMAZING dinner. Split Cacio e Pepe, Papardelle al cinghiale, florentine steak with rosemary and garlic AND panna cotta and crema Catalana (crème brûlée)
Everything was absolutely AMAZING. I would 10000% recommend this place over any other in this town. The price to quality is phenomenal.

Sono andata prima a cena ed il giorno successivo a pranzo con due amiche.
Siamo state benissimo entrambe le volte (sennò non saremmo ovviamente tornate!)

Piazza del mercato a Siena uno dei posti più belli, peccato per le tante auto parcheggiate.
All’antica trattoria parei si mangia bene ho assaggiato coniglio patate fritte e vino della casa , tutto gradevole, spesa 30 euro non tantissimo ma nemmeno poco. Ci ritornerò per assaggiare altre pietanze.

Abbiamo pranzato il giorno di Pasqua, nonostante il pienone siamo stati molto bene (abbiamo mangiato in una saletta distaccata). Tutto buono ma una menzione speciale va ai secondi, agnello speciale, buonissimi il cinghiale e il coniglio. Ottima la brace. Prezzi giusti.

Great traditional Tuscan food! Would recommend coming if you want to try something authentic. We were able to sit outside under the tent for dinner with the heaters on.
