Nice hotel, centrally placed, with everything an urban explorer needs. Good rooms and very friendly staff. The breakfast was good.

Absolute value for money (pls book direct). Very clean rooms, they look brand new, walking distance to all spots. The hotel owners are very kind and helpful. Hotel has a lift and there is a bar downstairs which is open till late

Hôtel bien placé pour visiter Florence.
A 15mn à pied des principaux monuments historiques, à 6mn de la gare ferroviaire.
Au 3ème étage, avec ascenseur.
Notre chambre était spacieuse et très propre, avec une vue sur le Duomo.
Le service est impeccable.
L'accueil est au top, à toute heure. Encore merci pour votre gentillesse.
Très bon rapport qualité prix.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Merlini, felt very welcomed from the first minute. The rooms are lovely (I loved the hard matress and slept very well) with a view of the Duomo.
Typical florentine treats for breakfast and great coffee is prepared whichever way you prefer.
The city centre is just a few minutes walking distance, train station even less.

My fiancé and I just left after a 3 night stay at hotel merlini. It’s a very charming, family run hotel just out of the way enough to have peace and quiet as well as a short, 5 minute walk to a lot of the sites you want to see. Rosario and his family were wonderful and so accommodating. The rooms were clean and a decent size, and there was air conditioning as well! This was perfect for what we were looking for and I would highly recommend it to anyone asking.

C'est très rare de tomber sur des hôtes aussi authentiques, gentils et généreux que rien que pour ça, j'y retournerai sans souci. Très belle expérience et petit déjeuner impeccable servi dans une très belle salle. Amateurs de simplicité dans le sens noble du terme, vous serez ravis.

Stayed at hotel Merlini for 3 nights and it was a fantastic experience. The family is so lovely and attentive and will do anything for you. It felt super safe and comfortable

Hotel situato in un luogo centrale dove si può andare in tutti i luoghi da visitare a piedi. Camere ben organizzate e munite di prodotti di alta qualità. Ottima pulizia ed organizzazione a gestione familiare ????????????????

This is a family owned business and is an amazing stay. Rosario and his family make you very welcome. The room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is modern and clean with a good sized shower.
The location is also very good, 4 min walk from the main train station and a 10-15 min walk from the basilica. 5-10 walk to the main leather markets. 10 min walk to the academia gallery which has the sculpture of David.
They are very accomodating of any requests. There is also a bell at the main door that you need to ring to enter so is a very safe place. Rosario or his son are always at hand to answer the bell so don’t worry about turning up late after a night out.
