I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Plus Hostel in Florence, and I must say it was utterly disappointing. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with rudeness and hostility from the staff. It was as if they couldn't be bothered to provide even basic hospitality.

To make matters worse, one of my friends who was staying with me was kicked out without any valid reason or explanation. The lack of professionalism and decency displayed by the management was appalling and completely unacceptable. After she was removed the security guard proceeded to follow my friend and I around for 10 minutes staring at us and making us extremely uncomfortable.

As if the rude staff and unjust treatment of guests weren't enough, the hostel was infested with ants. It was impossible to enjoy any comfort or cleanliness when constantly battling these pests. I was left with bites all over my legs and face. It's clear that the hostel lacks basic hygiene standards and fails to maintain a suitable environment for guests.

Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at Plus Hostel. The disrespectful staff, unjust treatment of guests, and ant infestation make for an utterly unpleasant experience. Save yourself the trouble and find accommodation elsewhere.

The room I got (ground-floor, street front) can't fulfil the basic requirements of a bedroom, namely it is not possible to rest or to sleep in it during the night. IT IS VERY LOUD!!! The people were shouting and singing just outside the window as they were in my bed. Busy traffic and absolutely no noise reduction as I was lying directly on the street. And the noise from the reception area and sometimes the pipes or who knows what... worst experience regarding accommodation.
