Carrozze is our favorite restaurant in Florence. On our first night in Florence after a long flight from the United States, we were walking around in an unfamiliar city and stumbled upon this hidden gem. We were immediately greeted by a friendly staff and seated immediately with bread on the table. The menu offers various selections of typical Italian cuisine, which we were delighted to try for the first time as study abroad students. We both ordered the "Mezze Maniche Artigianali Con La Burrata" pasta, which was easily the best pasta we have had in Florence even after trying multiple new restaurants in the past four months. We love this restaurant so much and encourage you to try this spot for a casual dinner with friends and family on any night of the week!

Food was very good. Waiter was the most attentive waiter we have had in Italy. The location is on a quiet Piazza, with wonderful music in the evening. Will definitely return.

Sehr sympathisches italienisches Lokal. Netter und zuvorkommender Service sehr leckeres Essen (gibt auch glutenfreie Pizza :-)) und wenn am Abend gerade ein Strassenmusiker spielt, macht es dies noch gemütlicher. Einzig durch die Perdekutschen, die da gelegentlich vorbeifahren, riecht es manchmal etwas sehr nach Pferd.
I didn’t get what I ordered. The Tiramisu for 9 € was the worst I ever had. 9 € for a very small glass of Chianti Classico is definitely too much.They almost forced me out meanwhile I was still eating my desert bc they wanted the table for new guests.
Better don’t go.
