Excellent place right by the Uffizi Gallery. The white truffle ravioli was outstanding and the atmosphere of a 150+ year old restaurant was very nice.

Very old traditional gastronomie spot in Florence. Fiorentine steak, ragu tortellini, cold cut plate, fried artichokes, moltepulciano wine, tiramisu, limoncello. What else could we ask for? Top quality food, drinks and service! Very friendly and experienced staff! We enjoyed every second of the experience! Hard to understand the bad rewiews. Lots of locals still coming to have dinner after 10 pm!

Classico “tourist trap” con cibo veramente mediocre e tavoli TROPPO vicini.
Alla cassa quando ho segnalato che uno dei piatti era troppo salato e perciò non gradito (si, l’ho dovuto fare alla cassa perché nessun cameriere è passato al nostro tavolo a chiederci come stava andando ed infatti ci siamo alzati per andare a pagare senza neanche aver finito il cibo), non è arrivata nemmeno una scusa o uno sconto, solo un “ah, non dovrebbe essere così”.
Avviso per turisti italiani e stranieri, questo posto veramente non ne vale la pena, Firenze ha tantissimi altri ristoranti migliori.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I don’t even know how this place have such a high review rate(?)… we made our reservation to celebrate a special date, we were excited to go there, but the bad “things” started happening from the moment we stepped in… the first girl who showed us the table, was so rude and even rolled the eyes for us… but we thought maybe it’s just her, and she was in a bad day…. But no… all the staffs were rude and treated us badly… only one 20-30ish year old guy saved that place and was nice and attentive…. When ordering, the waiter rolled his eyes for us, and was being rude to every answer he gave us. We wanted to order one sprite and one bottle of wine for three people and he said no… u can have one sprite and one glass of wine only, and didn’t even let us choose the wine. Maybe they treated us this way because we weren’t totally dressed up and also, different from the other tables we didn’t want to order a 60 euro steak, specially because one of us is a vegetarian. But this is just me assuming (by observing how he treated the table next to us). Anyhow, the food came and it was okay to say the least… wasn’t bad but nothing special either… and by how the staff treated us, the food tasted even worst and wasn’t worth our time. Don’t go there. There are so many other options, and good ones. So don’t go there :)
