Locale con spazio all'aperto accessibile in carrozzina e con disponibilità di pasta senza glutine. Servizio attento e cortese. Varietà di carne e pesce in un menu di qualità, prezzi ottimi. Consiglio in quanto abitante del quartiere.

Just 20 metres from our accommodation, this gem is such value for money. I had the sliced beef in olive oil and rosemary which was roasted to perfection. The olive oil was so fresh and fruity. My partner had a seafood penny and exclaimed that it was the best she's had.

The food is okay. But the waitress is bad. She doesn't care at all about you and feels that she hate her job. I wanted to order for 10 minutes, she didn't came to us. After I ordered an Antipasti for us, she took straight two. I didn't sent it back, just asked for the bill and gone. The older waiter was the only kind person there, but this with the under middle range atmosphere isn't enough to go back in the rest of my whole life. Which is sad, since the Antipasti of the house been actually quiet good.

Een iets duurder restaurant buiten het centrum van Florence maar redelijk druk ondanks een kille dinsdag in februari . Pappardelle conigli was zeer goed, evenals poppetje limone en tagliata pepe verde . Wijnen vanaf 25€

Il Guscio sgusciato… cena con cliente cinese, optiamo per questa osteria nel cuore di San Frediano. Che dire… molto al di sotto delle aspettative (me ne avevano parlato bene ????)… solito canovaccio attira turisti… solite luci, solito mood… accoglienza freddina ad empatia zero. Antipasto di salumi con dico 2 pezzettini di formaggio insapore, nota positiva dei carciofi fritti con burrata molto buoni. A seguire alcune tagliate di manzo anonime, delle polpette al limone e carote che parevano uscite dalla mensa di Santa Maria Nuova… un polpo grigliato su letto di ceci, qualche contorno di patate arrosto, una cupola di spinaci saltati. Impiattamenti da primo giorno delle selezioni di Masterchef… insomma, penso ci sia poco da aggiungere. Peccato, magari sarà stata una giornata storta ma sicuramente non ci tornerò. Odio le standardizzazioni, le omologazioni… e il Guscio non fa purtroppo eccezione.

There are many good places to eat in Florence and this is one of them! Glad we discovered it. Located in San Frediano neighborhood in the Oltrano atea so a bit off the “tourist trail.” High quality food for discerning diners. I had Branzino with artichokes and my husband had the lemon meatballs with vegetables; both outstanding. Cozy feeling. Welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed by locals judging from those seated around us on a Saturday night. Two thumbs up.

Locale molto carino ben arredato, qualità del cibo buona, con una buona scelta di piatti di pesce ma anche di carne.
Personale cordiale e gentile.
Non proprio economico ma di qualità.
Di secondo ho preso il polpo non so se era voluto, ma un po’ troppo duro, comunque di sapore molto buono.

I piatti buoni anche se non sensazionali;
Il servizio distinto , se dovevano dar risposta al cliente, allora erano più gioviali.
L'ambiente bello, curato, non ispirato a qualcosa di dettagliato ma bello..luci soffuse intriganti...

Ottima trattoria fiorentina dove è possibile gustare tutti i veri sapori delle specialità cittadine. Il sugo di carciofi e la bistecca sono punti di forza. Consigliatissimo. Prenotazione consigliabile

Interesting Tuscan cuisine. We tried the pate, gorgonzola risotto, rabbit ragu pappardelle, and the roast lamb. We thought the risotto was a bit too sweet (from the pears in it) to be a main dish. The roast lamb was lovely, and the rabbit ragu was nice.

Really nice modern Tuscan food. Traditional Tuscan food with a simple modern twist!
My wife had the misto Artichoke and I had the veal tongue for starters. It was really tasty. For mains my wife had the duck with orange and I had the beef with pate. Really nicely done. Chilled atmosphere, attentive staff. Price was reasonable. Great Combo! Give it a try!!
