E’ davvero rarissimo trovate a Cortina un albergo gestito da persone così carine, accoglienti e infinitamente gentili.Atmosfera estremamente elegante priva di inutili orpelli.Camere calde, arredate con cura e rifinite con gusto assoluto.Ottima anche la posizione, centrale ma giustamente defilata dalla ressa.Colazione ottima con torte squisite e fantastici micro krapfen.Straconsigliato

What a great experience!

A super cozy hotel in a wood-style decor. The breakfast offered a great variety of food, and the dinner and wine menu were top-notch (make sure to make your reservation in advance).

The entire team/family was amazing. A big shout-out to Andrea (the best concierge I've ever met), Mena (a super friendly waitress), and Belinda (the room attendant who always greets with a big smile and warm "buongiorno" every morning).

It's worth mentioning that the hotel is within walking distance (about 10 minutes) from one of the mountain lifts and has a bus stop right at the front door. The ski resort bus makes a round trip to all ski resort lifts.

Looking forward to my next "settimana bianca" in Cortina d'Ampezzo at the Menards hotel.

Family run magical place. The food is by far better than the two restaurants they recommended.. Il Vizietto di Cortina and Restaurant Ariston Bar (they are also ok). Best tomato sauce spagetti and best apple strudel i had in my life. Respect and thank you ????????

Nice traditional chalet-style hotel, very helpful staff, a 15 minute walk from Cortina’s center, the skibus stops right in front.
I don’t understand that this hotel does not have a skiroom nor a skiboot-dryer

We had an exceptional experience with hotel Menardi, after having issues getting to cortina from Venice on our check in date the hotel still honoured our two night stay starting a day late. The hotel staff were very welcoming and provided us with a local map and hiking recommended, arranged taxis for us and prepared good food in the restaurant. We were not expecting breakfast included however we were offered a great spread of both continental and cooked breakfast in the mornings. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the Main Street in cortina and has a cosy alpine lodge feel. Would definitely stay again.

Molto gentili location molto bella, comodo al centro 10 min. Di una splendida passeggiata, spa molto bella, parco fantastico.

Unbelievable, don't be fooled by reviews, it was that bad we left a day early.
When we arrived the hotel manager said he was putting us in the other building because the noise pollution was better.
We were showed to our room and for over £200+ for a room our heart sank.
The room was cold so I asked for a fleece which was dropped off.
The noise from the road was bad so we walked into Cortina to get ear plugs.
We decided to stay out and have a good drink so we could get some well earned sleep.
Well 5 am the noise from the road woke me and I sat in the dreary room waiting for breakfast.
This was the worst breakfast of our 2 week holiday, coffe was horrible and tasted of sterilised milk.
Eggs bacon and pastry's were lacking in taste and didn't taste fresh
I had the yoghurt which was ok.
On the 2nd day we went for a hike, we returned in the early afternoon cold and wet, we had a shower and decided to have a sleep as we were so tired.
I was awakened by my wife who had gotten out of bed to find two hotel employees in the dark in our room arguing!
My wife said when they saw her they were horrified and looked guilty and walked out of our room.
My wife asked me not to complain as we had no where else to go .
We decided to book a hotel somewhere else for the next day.
We then took all our valuables and packed then into rucksacks and went out to get food and return to the hotel as late as we could.
The next morning a day early we checked out, I spoke to the manager about what had happened and he said it was me who was in your room as the cleaner couldn't open the adjoining room door.
No apology, no refund offered.
Now the owner of the hotel usually responds to bad reviews and I'm sure he will here.
The worst hotel I've ever stayed in and for the price it wasn't worth £25 a night.
Appalling.

Una.bella struttura con un bel ambiente familiare

We kwamen hier alleen om te eten. Fijn dat dat kon. De eetzaal zag er mooi uit. Bij binnenkomst stonden twee werknemers van het hotel te giebelen en smoezen en vergaten ons aan te spreken. Men sprak slecht Engels. 1 “liter” huiswijn bleek een “fles” te zijn. (Was overigens zalig, chateauneuf du pape) Mijn ene tafelgenoot kreeg een ander gerecht dan besteld terwijl we het nog aangewezen hadden. Het leek dat alle bediening nog in de leer was. Het liep niet soepel. Aanwijzingen/ terechtwijzingen weden openlijk gedaan. Bestelling opnemen duurde lang enz. Op zich niet erg. Iedereen moet het leren, maar ik kon het niet huiselijk noemen zoals eerdere reviews dit meldden. Het eten was op zich prima. Een beetje hoog aan de prijs voor wat je kreeg.

Friendly knowledgeable people five generations have run this place. Food is excellent they don't mind serving tap water which is great for cyclist and outdoors people. Good selections of wines beers etc. Michael the proprietor does a fantastic job

Such wonderful experience! “Like home” environment. Caring staff, great service, comfortable spacious rooms with balcony. Great price / accommodation ratio for Cortina. Cosy restaurant and various options for breakfast.
Highly recommend!
