We stayed at Fattoria Meneguto for 4 nights while skiing at Cortina d’Ampezzo. This was the perfect lodging for the cost, and the amenities were fantastic. Breakfast is included with the room from 7:30-9:30 every morning. There is a variety of options including pastries, meats and cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and a great coffee machine which made a bunch of different espresso drinks. The rooms are cozy and spacious, and have a great view of the alps. For anyone planning to ski, it’s super helpful that there is a towel warmer in the room so you can dry off your gear at the end of the day. The owners are very kind and generous, constantly helping to store skis and once when taxis weren’t available, the owner even drove my friend and I to the mountain free of charge. The location is about 2 miles from the city center, so I do recommend renting a car. We walked to and from the lodge most days, but it is on a huge hill so there is a short hike involved - not the best for older people or children. Overall I would definitely recommend this lodge!
