Def. a different experience. Spooky in a way but charming, elegant and cozy at the same time. The rooms look old but that is its originality, the spa is to dye for as you can rent the room for yourself and your spouse. The food is devine and they treat you like roalty.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in questo hotel... Noi consideriamo visitare Venezia un privilegio e un sogno... Ma stare al Metropole è un sogno nel sogno. Sembra di entrare in uno splendido palazzo del '700 veneziano. Tutto riporta alla magia di quell'epoca. Grande cura dei dettagli e personale di alta professionalità... Hotel storico vicinissimo a piazza S.Marco offre un servizio attento e curato . Colazione molto buona e ricca . Le camere sono arredate con gusto . Gentilezza e cortesia sono la qualità che abbiamo riscontrato nel personale.

We haven’t stayed at the hotel we go to the bar there because it’s absolutely sumptuous and the cocktails that are made by Lino. The head bar man are out of this world. Incredible! You can tell him your personality and he will create a cocktail for you, and I guarantee you will love it.!!!!

Accès super facile, vous pouvez prendre le taxi baot pour arrivé directement à l'hotel .

J'ai adoré, emplacement idéal, au calme car légèrement décalé de la place san marco (env 400m) , personnel vraiment très agréable et professionnel, très bel hotel, décoration d'époque avec des collections différentes a chaque étage, petit déjeuner varié a volonté, si vous avez la possibilité d'aller au spa (payant), c'est un moment délicieux hors du temps avec possibilité de massage... Détails en mp.

Bon établissement. Équipe dynamique et très serviable. Petit déjeuner très équilibré et bien présenté. Un petit bémol: bouteilles d'eau plate(dans les chambres) ne sont pas offerts comme en France. Dommage, parce que c'est le besoin journalier et normalement ils doivent être offerts ( où au moins être inclus dans le montant de l'offre ). Mais, j'avoue que Italie c'est un autre monde...

This recommendation is for the spa.

90 mins exclusive access including massage, steam room, rainfall shower, & epic jacuzzi / sauna? This was excellent, I thoroughly recommend booking for 2 & having a glorious relaxation.

Don't visit this place, GIACOMO, THE WORST HOST Yesterday at the New Year's party the bar manager (I'm not even sure about that) in addition to conditioning the reservation on a minimum consumption of a thousand Euros and payment in advance of the same, when I left I requested that he return a couple of bottles of wine that I ordered from the staff guarding the door of the bar when I arrived, he became arrogant, yelling at me, pushing me (probably because of the extra drinks he consumed during his work) telling me that he had nothing, that the person to whom I gave it no longer I was there and I could do whatever I wanted, I could comment on FB or Instagram whatever I wanted.

It is a shame that the employees of this hotel treat a client like this without caring about anything, I will take care of telling everyone I know about my bad experience and I will visit Giacomo today in front of the other person as I was right

This is as good as it gets in Venice. Stylish and distinctive (antiques galore, dark red theme, Chinese/oriental features), but not snooty. Family run hotel, not a chain. Calm, friendly and efficient service.

Superbement placé, c'est un vieux palace qui a su garder une certaine classe.
Petit déjeuner vraiment bien, avec beaucoup de choix en salé et sucré,
servi dans une belle salle dédiée ou mieux encore dans le jardin d'hiver.
Bémol sur les chambres un peu vieillottes également voire étriquées pur les chambres standard.
Bonne option, un peu chère bien sur, pour Venise.

Hotel de charme avec une situation exceptionnelle (à quelques mètres près celle du Danieli). Accueil aimable, ambiance feutrée. Très beau buffet de petit déjeuner - en tous les cas aux normes italiennes.
Par contre chambre standard un petit peu exiguë même si l'espace est utilisé au mieux.
En bref un hôtel de charme mais à mon sens pas tout à fait un palace.
