Awesome gnocchi and nice wine, very friendly staff, cozy ambience, easy to find, fair prices, highly recommend the place.

Best experience in a restaurant ever. We went to the place 4 times in 4 days to try as much as we could and were very content with this decision. Incredibly friendly staff, we tipped them with great pleasure every time; warm and cozy atmosphere with some curious Venice-themed decorations and pleasant music; THE FOOD was something else: I even ordered a dessert after my lunch, which I typically never do, but the descriptions in the menu were to enticing. My pasta with sea food was unforgettable (all other dishes were very, very good, too, but because I'm hard to please with sea food I feel the need to single it out in my recollection), and the combination of tastes and textures in dolci was just wonderful every single time. My friend also enjoyed their selection of vines. 10+/10 give yourself a present and go there when you'll be in Venice, we definitely will

This is strictly for food on visit in 2018. Check my Yelp review. All I have to say is get the mixed seafood appetizer. I did not realize sardines tasted this good. I'll punch all the sharks and dolphins in their faces so I can have all the sardines for San Lio prepares them for me to devour. All the other pizza and pasta dishes were excellent as well.
Dafür erwartet Sie echte venezianische Küche in einer sehr guten Qualität. Preis/Leistung ist absolut ok.
Besonders wohltuend ist das hervorragende Service von jungen Leuten, die ihr Handwerk gelernt haben und dem Gast zumindest in 3 Sprachen erklären können, was auf den Teller kommt. Italienisch, Französisch und Englisch durfte ich live mitbekommen.
Wer trotz der Lage in der Nähe des Markusplatzes keine Touristenmassenabfertigung sondern solides gastronomisches Handwerk aus der Region will, ist hier richtig.
Für mich wird es jedenfalls ein Fixpunkt, wenn ich in Venedig bin.
P.S.: Die jungen Herren haben das Lokal neu übernommen. Die in früheren Rezessionen erwähnten Pizzen gibt es dort wirklich nicht mehr. ;-)
