We stopped here for a drink at 7PM. Bar staff were very friendly and it was lovely and quiet. Fair prices too.

This is my second visit to Osteria Ai 40 Ladroni. The first visit was in 2022, and both visits were highly enjoyable and memorable. They have THE BEST seafood I've ever had (in or out of Italy), and the atmosphere is wonderful! The food is extremely fresh and it is prepared and served very quickly. The employees are incredibly nice and genuinely welcoming. Eating here is an experience that truly feels like you are dining at a close friends home. I honestly can't say enough good things about this restaurant or it's staff. It is a little off the beaten path on the Venice isles but well worth the detour. If you are going to eat in Venice, please put this restaurant on your itinerary. You won't be disappointed and you will be very glad you did.

Visited this place around four times with my local relatives, we all speak italian and always had a great time. The food is really good and both sitting inside and by the canale was really nice.

But during myast visit, I visited with a foreign friend of mine, saldy it was a disaster! We spoke english together and the behaviour of the waiters towards us was horrific... They were rude and directly insulted us...

Recommended by our hotel me and my girlfriend stayed in and only a few minutes walk away, food was delicious, staff very friendly and helpful in recommending dishes to eat.

Had a sharing platter to start with and a main, only remembered to take pictures of the mains. But both came out in good time and piping hot.

Good prices with a lovely atmosphere

Would definitely come back and highly recommend!!!

For me, a nice classic restaurant with nice service. The food was fabulous, the taste of the pasta was terrible. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants Italian cuisine.

siamo arrivati alle 11 per bere chi lo spritz e chi il caffè, il signore al banco niente da dire, educato ci ha chiesto le ordiazioni, ad un certo punto esce il titolare dalla cucina e con aria burbera esclama "oii Dighe a sti qua che se i vol magnare i se senta , sennò che i vaga in cueo de so mar a magnar in campagna tasb..."
Non ho altro da aggiungere

in Risposta... ghe gerimo soeo nialtri... el local gera vodo, probabilmente ti geri drio parlar co i to clienti immaginari, cossa ti vol che te diga... assa ea.. Probabilmente ti geri veramente convinto de esser simpatico, cossa ti vol che te diga... non gavaremo el senso dell'umorismo
