Good food, including vegetarian options. And the service was good as well, with nice people. If you’re looking for decent mix of menu within decent price for a family, this is definitely at least once a visit on your trip.

People are very rude, they refused to let us in! They told us that they were full, but it had a lot of empty tables in the restaurant.

[SE VOCÊ É TURISTA NÃO VÁ A ESSA LOCAL] Chegamos la através de uma indicação de uma moradora chamada Enrica nossa anfitriã, pedimos por uma mesa no restaurante que estava com mesas livres e ele disse curto e grosso que não tinha mesa para minha família e que não iria nos atender, pois estava com “pessoas” esperando, sendo que não havia ninguém no local esperando a não ser eu, meu pai e minha mãe! Me senti extremamente chateada com a situação de ser tratada com maior desprezo como se eu fosse um lixo, como se fosse proibida de frequentar um estabelecimento nenhuma razão a não ser o fato de não sermos locais, primeira vez que sofro xenofobia na itália, foi a primeira experiência que tive no país e isso acabou com meu dia, não faria isso com ninguém no meu país, um retrocesso de caráter, por isso não recomendo.

Atendimento péssimo, pessoas extremamente rudes, e riram de mim e da minha esposa por não conseguirmos entender quando falaram super rápido, não recomendo.

Osteria accogliente con servizio velocissimo. Siamo stati a cena il martedì grasso di carnevale. Unica nota negativa è che viene addebitato anche il costo del servizio sul conto (è scritto apertamente sul menù).

Wie toll ist bitte dieses kleine Lokal / Bar? Ganz verwinkelt, in kleinen Gassen (okay, wahrscheinlich würden wir sie nie wieder finden) sind wir dort auf was zu trinken eingekehrt. Wurden freundlich empfangen. Dieser kleiner Laden hat einfach Charme und man spürt total, dass dort die Venezianer hin gehen. Daher auch meine Bewertung. Venedig ist in der Regel immer sehr sehr teuer. Hier haben wir für zwei Wasser und ein Espresso zusammen 2,80 € gezahlt. Wer dort zufällig vorbei kommt >> geht rein und unterstütz die einheimischen Bars vor Ort =)

Traditional tratoria in a quiet corner close to Santo Stefano. Simple menu of well prepared dishes. With tablecloths. Can be a bit busy and they are not particularly friendly.

Osteria consigliata da un amico ed è stato un ottimo suggerimento. Piatti di pesce della tradizione veneziana, ma genuini e di qualità.
Le "seppie nere e i canestrei" una prelibatezza. Ambiente curato e il servizio ottimo. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Came here for dinner at around 8:30pm on a weekday, it was situated on a quiet street and the restaurant was not too crowded either. We ordered 2 pastas and one main and the portions were huge. Lasagna did not look that appetising but the taste was great, we were definitely not disappointed by the food. Everything tasted very homely. Staff were really friendly too. The complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal was a nice touch.

Total bill came up to be about 90€ which was not that cheap but because it’s Venice and the portions of the dishes were huge I guess it’s acceptable.

10 e lode!!!
Finalmente un’osteria dove si mangia bene!! Locale a conduzione familiare, cucina veneziana, fresca, genuina, tradizionale. Ambiente accogliente, il responsabile in sala, ci ha illustrato i piatti da noi scelti, (i bigoli, le sarde in saor,i il baccalà mantecato, ) spiegandoci come venivano eseguiti. Veramente felice di esserci capitati per puro caso. Il costo è nella media. Sicuramente la prossima volta che torneremo in visita a Venezia…prenoteremo.
Ahhhh i dolci sono fatti in casa .. quindi obbligo un assaggio.

On a déjeuné dans ce resto lors de notre voyage à Venise. L'ambiance y est bfort sympathique. On a passé un super moment! Hâte d'y revenir!
