Lovely restaurant and everyone very polite! I always pay attention to toilet and it’s very clean! Food was great! Best pasta I’ve had in Venice!

Definitely fresh pasta. Too salty for me. But still good.

The pasta is really good. The seafood is fresh without any questions. Recommend to have it.

But the service is not that welcoming. They avoid looking at my eyes and ignore my smiles. Poke face most of the time while I don't know why. But they smile to others. Interesting.

One of the best meals I’ve had on vacation. Honestly, great service, great food and great wine. So glad we picked this restaurant as our first meal in Venice. The squid ink pasta was amazing and my secondi was the swordfish special. AMAZING. We will be back!!

Un ristorante nel pieno centro di Venezia che offre piatti non "da turisti". Tra i migliori primi di pesce che io abbia mai mangiato ad un prezzo giusto. Da notare che la pasta è fatta in casa da loro e vi assicuro che gli spaghetti alle vongole e quelli agli scampi sono veramente emozionali. Buonissimo anche il pane sempre fatto da loro. Ambiente carinissimo e personale iper gentile. Se siete a Venezia e volete mangiate in modo eccelso senza spendere un capitale dovete andare alla Taverna Scalinetto. Un bravissimo al cuoco e a chi gestisce la sala!!!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. We were a party of 5 and ordered appetizers and mains and there wasn’t one dish that wasn’t excellent. We especially enjoyed the “fish soup” which is very large and full of amazing clams, calamari and fish. The place is very small and tight but we really enjoyed our experience.

The food felt warm in the microwave, we didn't finish our dishes, although it looked nice and we paid 80€ for everything. The food was terrible. I do not recommend it.

Découvert par hasard, ce fut une expérience fort sympathique. Deux pièces de viande bien cuisinées et de qualité (canard et poulet). Un serveur qui parle le français et l'équipe aux petits soins. Et tout ça, pour pas plus cher qu'un restaurant "attrape-touriste" où l'on n'aurait pas aussi bien mangé !

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, Nudeln aldente und sehr leckeres Pistazienpesto mit Schrimps (war auf der Sonderkarte). Ebenso der Oktopus war sehr gut. Desserts waren das Zitronen Sorbet mit Vodka und Prosecco und ein Pistaziensouffle mit weichem Kern - beides köstlich und die 20min Wartezeit für das frische Souffle somit ok. Die Kellner waren nett und flott. Für alles zusammen waren es 85€ für 2 Personen, was ich vollkommen in Ordnung finde.

Super expérience dans ce petit restaurant caché dans une ruelle de Venise !
J’y suis venue seule le samedi soir et j’ai pris les bigolis aux crevettes et pesto de pistache. J’ai tellement aimé que je suis revenue le lendemain midi avec une amie et nous avons testé les spaghettis à l’encre de seiche ainsi que le poulpe grillé et ses légumes : tout était parfait !
Je vous recommande vivement ce restaurant mais vous conseille de réserver à l’avance si vous souhaitez être sûrs d’obtenir une table ????
