from the arrival by water taxi (not arranged by the hotel, though I am sure they would) we were greeted by by the owner Rami and the manager Andrea, who made us feel immediately at home whilst showing round the hotel and then taking us to our fabulous room (we had a canal view in the deluxe double room) The hotel is situated with in walking distance of St Marks the Rialto Bridge and many other attractions including a fabulous book shop round the corner.
every day we were treated like royalty be it by either John or Mar on Reception, Svetta, Georgio and Silvio in the restaurant both morning and evening times the court yard came alive of an evening thanks to the superb live music provided by Frederico and Massimo who most night were accompanied by Rami (truly the host with the most !!) the food was to die for everything we had there was top notch. the room and hotel was kept beautiful by Rossella.
It really was the best holiday we have ever had and we will return some day. infact the worst moment was when we came to leave it broke my heart I could have stayed for ever
