Tipico locale Veneziano. Cibo di ottima qualità così come il servizio. Personale preparato e molto cordiale. Location unica: il locale è il proseguimento del Teatro La Fenice!

Brilliant location and accommodation overall. View from canal side was superb and only a short 10min to Rialto bridge and other sightseeing spots. Got the ferry to and from ospedale ferry wharf, also an easy 10 min (essential to use Google maps..). Front desk staff were brilliant being very welcoming and highly knowledgeable. Rooms are with aircon although quite dated and have small shower cubicles. Don’t drop the soap. Highly recommended overall and has good restaurant onsite for breakfast ( excellent coffee) and dinner.

We stayed two nights in a canal view room. The Locanda La Corte exceeded expectations. If we are fortunate to return to Venice we would not hesitate to return to this hotel. The room was clean, quiet, and convenient. The staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The first night we were so tired we decided that the easiest choice was to dine in the hotel restaurant. We had an outstanding meal! The complimentary breakfast in the pretty courtyard was also very good. We were pleased to have choices geared to Americans like scrambled eggs. A very pleasant stay and we loved the view!
A great little place to stay on a quiet calle. We had a courtyard view and that was fine. Not a far walk from the vapretto stop at Ospedale, and it has a watergate if you are taking a water taxi. 10ish min walk to San Marco. But the walks in Venice always take longer. The best thing is, it is easy to find your way back. Just follow the signs for the hospital. The breakfast is lovely. Rooms may have a tight spot or 2 depending on how the bathroom is oriented. Also if you are a bigger person the shower might be tight. It was like taking a shower in a phone booth. But really if that is the only flaw. No big deal really. The Aqua Alta book store is like 2 min away, we found it by accident. And one of the most photographed spots in Venice is right outside. So if you are looking for a comfy bed, a quiet room, a possable canal view, a James Bond entrance via a watergate, a good breakfast at a reasonable rate...and minimal bridges to cross from the vapretto stop...this is your place.
