Food was very bad. The promised fire place in the restaurant was not being used. A waiter was cooking the meat in a pan in the kitchen, they did not have a cook. The meat quality was bad and completely wrong cooked.

My recent visit to Trattoria L’Antica for dinner left me thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who graciously accommodated us despite not having a reservation.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting, with a cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the space added to the overall positive impression.

One of the standout features of Trattoria L’Antica is its extensive wine selection, showcasing a diverse range of wines to complement any meal. The owner’s expertise in wine was evident as he guided us through the options, ensuring a perfect pairing for our dinner.

Das Restaurant ist etwas für Fleischesser. Das Fleisch ist sehr hochwertig. Wir hatten Steak und Cotoletta Milanese (glutenfrei). Die Zubereitung am offenen Grill war auf den Punkt genau. Die Cotoletta Milanese war fad.
Auch Nachtisch gab es glutenfrei.

Here you will find the best food in Como. There are some other really good places too. But, L'Antica takes it a step up. More unique/quirky/advanced dishes alongside some of the more traditional ones. We will be coming back here. A mix of seafood, high quality steak cuts and pasta.

Viande excellente. Accompagnements décevants. Prix exorbitants compte tenu de la présentation des plats limités à leur plus simple expression. Beaucoup trop cher pour un restaurant qui se dit typiquement cuisine italienne avec service minimum.

Ristorante eccezionale, gestito benissimo da un team giovane e super preparato. Eleganza e semplicità contraddistinguono questo ristorante da tutti gli altri in cui sono stato, la carne dà una marcia in più a tutto, per non parlare della carta dei vini.
Consiglio vivamente questo tipo di esperienza, ne vale davvero la pena!

Un'esperienza gastronomica eccezionale attende ogni commensale che sceglie questo ristorante. L'atmosfera è raffinata e accogliente, il camino in sala è una vera perla rara che fa sentire i clienti come a casa; il personale è cortese, attento e preparato; insomma ogni dettaglio è curato con maestria. I piatti, una sinfonia di sapori raffinati e ingredienti freschi, trasportano i palati in un viaggio culinario indimenticabile. La carne, cavallo di battaglia del ristorante, è a dir poco afrodisiaca, Un connubio perfetto tra tradizione e innovazione culinaria.

Fratelli miei, il vostro menù non può essere così costoso, anche per gli standard comaschi è troppo. E non parlo solo di carne (dove su alcuni piatti può essere giustificato), ma gli antipasti e i primi sono allucinanti. Carne? Buona dai, ma altri posti vi danno le pizze a prezzi più onesti. A mio parere, chi dà 4 o 5 stelle non ha probabilmente mai mangiato da nessun’altra parte che a Como e forse a Milano. Il contorno con fagioli in scatola e due anelli di cipolla a 6,50€ da la giusta misura dei prezzi del locale. La ricerca di locali umani a Como continua.
Ottimo il cameriere.

Edit: sono in Piemonte da 2 giorni e la qualità della carne (e in generale) abbinata ai prezzi dimostra che quanto proposto dall’antica di Como è fuori da ogni logica.

Edit in risposta al commento del ristorante: purtroppo non basta aggiungere degli ingredienti costosi per rendere un piatto di alto livello/alta cucina. E quanti antipasti avete con tali pompose aggiunte? Non si sa perché il menu online, non c'è, ma sicuramente non tutte.
Chi sa, vi evita.

Carne buona, ma non si spiega il prezzo. Carne fatta cuocere alla griglia e servita con il niente! Per un minimo di 30,00€ e senza contorno.. gli antipasti che costano come le portate principali davvero non si spiega. Quindi un piatto con un pezzo di carne messo lì (31,00€), contorno di fagioli della scatola (6,50€), vino e acqua per quasi 60,00€.
