We had a nice evening at Ratana. Good food, good wine, nice atmosphere and good service. Dinner time can be full that’s why it’s necessary to make reservation. We had 2 kinds of risotto and a fish dish. It was a very light dinner so we got hungry a few hours later. Their specialty is risotto. Dessert was also good.

Sit at the bar. Watch the maestro make drinks. Great vibe from this point of view and getting to see the chemistry the staff has heightens the experience. The food is more than you expect. Just don't act like a tacky American tourist. It's annoying. Kudos to the staff that have to deal with this stupidity on the regular.

Το φαγητό σε πολύ καλό επίπεδο με τις τιμές βέβαια λίγο τσιμπημένες !

Booked for Monday lunch. Obviously a favourite spot for workers - very busy between 1 and 2. Staff were really nice - not worried that we were 10 mins late, arranged a table on the terrace even though I had had to book inside when I went online. Our waiter was excellent. We ordered a second bottle of wine but they didn’t have a cold one so we ordered a different one rather than wait for it to cool in the freezer. He offered to warm up my meal which had cooled slightly while we waited for the wine (without me having to make a fuss!). We were also given a complimentary desert as an apology for the wine not being available. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very convivial (until the gardeners arrived next door with their leaf-blowers! Head chef/owner was very cross with them!). We relaxed in the sun (had not seen it for at least 5 months in the UK) after our meal and although all the other diners had gone and the staff were tidying up the tables for the evening we were not made to feel rushed at all. I really loved this restaurant. Thoroughly recommended.
