该火车站是继米兰中央火车站之后，米兰市内最重要的火车站之一：每年都有大量旅客经过。这里有市郊、地区和国家列车，还有连接米兰和巴黎（里昂火车站）的法国国营铁路公司 TGV 列车。从加里波第港出发，可乘坐火车直达众多意大利村庄（克雷蒙、贝加梅、都灵、罗马......）。该车站于 1961 年投入使用，其名称来源于加里波第门（Porte Garibaldi des anciens remparts de la ville）。

Cette gare qui permet de prendre le TGV pour Lyon/Paris est pas très bien dotée en terme d'équipement, pas de sieges pour patiencer, un wifi qui marche pas et peu de cafés ... bref le temps est long

it has been improved for teh expo and now there are some shops inside. Outside the area is a bit rough at night so I would suggest to stay outside just the minimum necessary. The passante has got many liens going thorugh that and the trains to Lyon Paris leave from there. 2 underground lines are stopping there. The area around is impressive for the buildings (the famous bosco).
