There were plenty of places available and we were offered 2 pitches for the price of one allowing us to drive on and leave the caravan hooked up.
The toilets ans showers were hot and there was also a large washing up room again with loads of hot water.
The site is very close to the Pegasus bridge and the museum. It's a must to see all the artifacts and photos of our brave soldiers.
Our stop coincided with the anniversary of the landing and the start of the invasion of Europe and many vehicles from the war were driving around.
We wished we had more time to explore the area and would definitely stay at des capuchines again. It's also very convenient for the Ouistriem ferry.
All in all a great camp site
