Our stay at La Malà was excellent. Climbing the winding stairs of Vernazza, viewing the castle from our room, waking to bells in the morning and enjoying incredible views of the coast from the terrace. Our room was clean, modern and comfortable. La Malà is a very unique guest house.

Superb experience at La Mala! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Everything was great. Gian met us at the top of the village and helped bringing our luggage to the room. As we were walking down, he was telling us some history of the village and gave us some great recommendations to what to do and how to get around Cinque Terre. He was also very responsive over WhatsApp, and helped with booking restaurant reservations, boat tour, and transportation back to our car (btw, don't drive there like we did, just take the train). Stay at room 31. Gorgeous views of the ocean, specious, clean and welcoming. We watched the sunrise from the patio, and had a bottle of wine watching the sunset. La Mala is central to Vernazza, and very close to the beach and many of the restaurants the village has to offer. All in all it's a real hidden gem. Even though the village can get extremely busy (as it's the most beautiful our the five - in our opinion), the room and patio offered a quiet space to get away from the craziness and recharge. so go book it now, really.

Very charming place, the terrasse overlooking the sea has a breathtaking view and the best sunset. Room was very clean and we had a nice view of the castle, a glimpse of the sea and the village !

The owner Gian Is such a nice man, he came to meet us at the train station to help with the bags and show us the way to the property,
Vernassa is a bit of a maze of stairs and tiny alleys so we we happy to have him guide us :-)

We will definitely come back !

Wonderful location, gorgeous views, and perfect room that had everything we needed to enjoy a coffee in the morning, or a bottle of wine in the evening.

Fantastic experience! The climb is worth it - the proprietors are very helpful getting you settled from the train station. Our room was absolutely fantastic - one of the highlights of our month in Italy.
