WARNING IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO HERE DON’T I REPEAT DON’T QUESTION “ANYTHING”. The PAYING CUSTOMER IS NEVER RIGHT! Unfortunately the maitre d’. Who sat us forgot to assign a waiter to us we sat there watching tables being attended to that showed up after us. He “ Got so UPSET when I asked him for water and what was going on! I said we’ve been here for awhile and no one’s come by to ask us for water. In his condescending tone “Madame you’ve been here for 10 minutes. I repeated to him NO ONE had asked us if wanted any. His response was yes you were asked by your waiter who sat you down. GENIUS YOU sat us down and walked away! SMH! Our reservations were @9:30pm we’d already sat there closer to 9:45pm and most of the other restaurants were closed. Staff can’t be bothered rude, absolutely rude! Waiter stood there with a smug looked poured water banged glasses and spilled it “NO” I’m sorry nothing. Grabs pad what do you want? I said first of all we’d like a glass of wine and bread on the table! Come back with that and then will order our appetizers and dinner! We NEVER had the same waiter thru out the dinner! WE UNDERSTAND IT SHOULD BE AN EXPERIENCE but WOW! Appetizers were GREAT dinners and desserts were ok. With reservations and recommendations from the owner of our Airbnb we went happily. Truly this place just doesn’t get it. Bill was just under $200 euros. GOOD LUCK!

We visited Miky's on the suggestion of our driver who is a frequent visitor himself to Monterosso. We were not disappointed. We did not have reservations, but they were able to fit our party of two in on a Sunday evening. They were turning larger groups away. Reservations are a must, especially for parties larger than two. We started with a few hors d'oeuvres, which were served on hot rocks, we then shared the anchovy sampler that consisted of local anchovies prepared 5 different ways. (the anchovies in Monterosso are much better than those that come out of a can at home) For our next course. my girlfriend had the Turbo Fish with Trumbell zucchini, toasted almonds and courgetti flower. I had the deep fried combination of baby squid, red mullet, anchovies, pink prawns, and vegetables breaded in Simola. We loved everything.

This was one of the best meals that I had in Italy. The pasta was top notch and the presentation was incredible. I really appreciated the fine service and the attention to detail with every dish served. This establishment made my wife re-evaluate her stance on seafood!

the food was good, but a bit pricy for the value. overall a nice experience with good service and atmosphere. we had a great local white wine
