Extremely expensive and below average food. The waiter was quite rough and unhelpful. No wonder it was completely empty. Big tourist trap.

Disappointing. I am not the type of person to write reviews but this one really triggered me. We had a reservation because I’d looked promising and the notoriety. The experience turned out to be the worst of our trip. The service was very, very rushed. Nobody actually cared if you were actually liking the food or experience. The food was mediocre at best. The atmosphere was the lowest of all places we had been to. And the cherry on the pie was bringing the bill before ordering it, less than sixty minutes after we entered. There are much nicer places in and around Portofino. Save yourself the time and spend it somewhere else.

Wow. Absolutely incredible. My boyfriend still talks about the pasta!! We both got the Pappardelle Protofino and there was nothing left on either of our plates ???? absolutely could not recommend that dish enough!!!

For starters we got the Parma ham and melon and it was phenomenal! I got tiramisu for dessert and it was the best one we had on our trip. My boyfriend loved the apple pie. The servers were so nice and the covered porch is a stunning atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Cibo deliziosissimo ed in porzioni soddisfacenti, vini e dessert delicati al palato e dai profumi che meritano l'assaggio , ho mangiato una pasta con il sugo (forse) il secondo più buono della mia vita dopo il sugo di mia nonna! Ambiente fantastico e la brezza marina fa passare qualsiasi affa estiva ! Manca una filarmonica nel centro della piazza e sarebbe perfetto da comprarci casa! Lo raccomando vivamente!

Place had great food but the customer service was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Me and a few friends walked in for lunch. After being totally rushed out of our meal, a nasty waitress yelled at my friends and I for our lack of Italian.

Basically they didn’t take credit card and when I tried to pay with card she yelled at us that she told us this info in the beginning (which she didn’t). She then made more comments about our lack of Italian.

Honestly this lady just needed to chill out.

Hands down the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered.

Food was great. Portions are small but delicious. Unfortunately, there was a very rude waitress with a giant mole on her face (I mention the mole so you can identify her and stay away ????) she was mocking a couple that didn’t speak Italian and she was rude to us. I wouldn’t go back there. The food wasn’t worth the insult.

Fuimos allí por recomendación de la guía lonely Planet. Y no se equivoco. Buena atención, lugar con encanto y una comida deliciosa. No es un sitio barato pero tampoco excesivamente costoso. Vale la pena . Si vais no dejéis de pedir pasta al puny y el tiramisu no os arrepentiréis.

We dined at Puny on a Wednesday night. Our reservation was originally for 8:30 but we bumped it up to 7:30 because we had just flown in to Italy that day and were super tired. The restaurant opens at 7:30 so it was pretty dead when we were seated but the ambiance really kicked into gear around 8/8:30. The outdoor seating area has a wonderful view of the harbor and is in a great location. For dinner I had the Pappardelle Portofino which was good but I was expecting it to be more pesto forward and less of a cream sauce. My husband started with the pesto pasta and got the veal with lemon juice which was delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant, but be sure to make a reservation!

The food is extremely overpriced, especially given the mediocre quality and very small size. The owner urged the waiter to get us out of the table to serve new guests. It is just a money machine, lucky due to a good location.

The owner of the place is very annoying, trying to rush the waiters to speed you up and leave as soon as possible. Not an enjoyable atmosphere, all about the money but not the experience. Seriously overpriced and overrated for what it is, we stayed hungry after our dinner.

Ristorante storico di riferimento a Portofino. Oggi lo porta avanti il figlio Andrea. Serata Rotary, il mio Amico Francesco mi aveva detto "vai sul sicuro". Che dire? Location fantastica in Piazzetta. Risotto con gamberi spettacolare. Una sinfonia di sapori e colori. Semifreddo al caffè da applausi. Pescato del giorno: ottimo.
Che dire? Super. Super. Super. Super. Bravo Andrea!

Went to this restaurant two days in a row with my family and we loved it! Outstanding food and service! I recommend trying the papperdale pasta because it's what they're know for. Other than that, a highly recommended place to eat at!
