Five stars isn’t enough! My daughter and I had an absolute blast on our ride with Elisa. The rickshaw was able to get places you can’t get with a cab, navigating through winding alleys and streets. Elisa was so knowledgeable and engaging my 9-yr old was interested the whole time. Elisa gave us great information, took us to get wonderful food and really made our tour spectacular. Plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos if you wish. It is pricey but absolutely worth it. If you are visiting Genoa make sure to take advantage of this service and be sure to request Elisa.

Today we have done this tour. The experience was beyond expectations. In a 2 hour ride you are shown the finer details of the centro storico of Genua. Because it is by tricycle bike we visited alleys and piazzas that are unable to reach by bus, or even by taxi. The driver is an authentic Genovese who shows his tremendous knowledge (and love) of the city. There is plenty room for questions and interaction. Although not cheap, it is very good value for money. Very recommendable!

Not a well run business and not good for solo travellers. Their website does not provide any details as far as tour availbility - "Book Tour" just leads you to a generic contact form for you to fill out. The form only lets you choose 2 or more bicycles to rent.

The website also says you can stop by their location and book in person. I did that and there was just one dude there smoking a cigarette who only speaks Italian. Their website and marketing materials are multilingual, so this was very surprising.

I ended up using the form and specifying in the comments that I would like a tour for 1 bike. They replied via email quickly, proposing either joining the tour that was about to start or the 13:00 tour. I replied saying that the 13:00 works for me. I showed up again at that time. There was an English speaker there, but the staff there had no knowledge of my email communication. There was no 13:00 tour - I was the only one there. The next availability with other people would be 2 days away. And they had to call someone on the phone to get this information to me. Overall, a waste of time.

This is not directed at the knowledgable tour guides or their content - I wish I got the smooth experience other reviewers had. I truly hope Treecycle fixes their disorganized and unprofessional operations. Until then, I would not recommend this tour company.

EDIT - Updated rating to be higher after talking with the business. They attempted to resolve the issues and were very accommodating. I couldn't make it to the time proposed but I appreciate the customer service.

Esperienza nuova..divertente ed ecologica!!! Le ragazze Elisa e Paloma ci hanno fatto scoprire la vera Genova. Soprattutto Elisa è una guida veramente esperta. Ci siamo divertiti moltissimo. Grazie

This was a fantastic experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable, kind and willing to stop where we wanted to! She also took photos of us that were fantastic! I feel like we got to see all of the highlights of the city with ease!

Wir hatten eine La Superba-Tour bei Gavino gebucht, weil meine Frau nur deutsch spricht und das war die beste Entscheidung, unseren Aufenthalt in Genua zu beginnen.
Gavino ist der ideale Guide, um Genua kennen zu lernen, spricht hervorragend Deutsch und hat und in den zwei Stunden der Tour so viel Informationen vermittelt und Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt, dass wir die ganze Woche versorgt waren. Eine Abholung direkt beim Hotel war kein Problem. Wenn wir wieder nach Genua kommen (und das werden wir), dann hoffen wir, dass wir wieder eine Tour mit Gavino machen können.
PS: Der Tipp mit der Eisdiele war wirklich super, am nächsten Tag ausprobiert. ;-)

Tenho somente afirmações positivas a respeito da loja de aluguel de bike, O funcionário Walid foi supersticioso, não deixamos nada de garantia, apenas uma foto do passaporte, fizemos um passeio por genova em praticamente todos os pontos de interesse em 4 horas. As E-bikes era super fáceis de pedalar. É uma excelente opção pra quem chega de navio, fica quase em frente ao porto.
