Charismatic five star hotel in the city centre of beautiful Genua. The rooms are bit dated but richly decorated, the bath rooms a modern and clean, the bed fresh and the linen clean, in-house Griotto Ristorante is amongst the best in town, and the staff is welcoming and friendly, in particular in the small bar, which probably service the best gin tonic in a balloon glass in Genua

De locatie is super. Alles is op loopafstand. De kamer werd 2 keer per dag netjes gemaakt. Gezellige bar. Goed ontbijt. En ook het diner in het hotel was erg goed. Vriendelijk personeel.

This is an old historical hotel that is worth staying just to experience staying in a museum like accommodation. It is very well located close to shopping and restaurants but out of the ZTL. Around 10-15 walk to the historical centre.

Service is generally very good and professional. The restaurant is also very classy and the food is above average. It's just a delight to dine in a room that looks like the museum you visit.

The room we got (a upgrade) was very spacious and modern facilities are available despite being an old botel. The only issue is that the wooden floor creaks very bad but that is normal for old buildings. Overall a very good stay.
