For the rate we found that things were perfectly acceptable. The room was basic, clean, well maintained and not at all noisy: when the windows were closed there was neglible noise, air condition was fine but not up to the job when it's 40 degrees outside but today was 30, so it did the job. honestly i expected the worst after reading reviews.

Hotel położony w doskonałej lokalizacji, 4 minuty piechotą od dworca, 15 minut od oceanarium, w pobliżu jest też ogromna ilość knajp, więc jest z czego wybierać. Nie korzystaliśmy ze śniadań. Pokoje bardzo czyste i każdego dnia sprzątane z uzupelnianymi podstawowymi przyborami toaletowymi. Klimatyzacja funkcjonowała dość słabo przez co temperatura w pokoju była czasem nieznośna. Wystrój nieco staromodny, ale akceptowalny. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna. Podczas rezerwacji prosiliśmy o pokój z 1 łóżkiem dwuosobowym, ale przygotowany pokój miał 2 oddzielne łóżka, po interwencji dostaliśmy pokój z pięknym widokiem na miasto i port.
Wi-Fi nie działało.

Book anywhere else other than this hotel! It was 33 degrees in Genoa during our stay and the air conditioning didn’t work. The room was a sauna, we tried to sleep after a 6am flight and laid there sweating angrily instead. In the fridge there was no “minibar” as promised, only a half drank bottle of water from the previous guest. After complaining we were offered the room next door, which had the same non-functioning air conditioning which seemed to be from the 1960s. We tried to find other accommodation but everywhere was booked apart from those starting at €250 a night, so we had no choice but to stay. Eventually after threatening to call the police for lack of service paid for, we were offered a room on the top floor which had slightly better air conditioning. As a pregnant woman I found this entire situation with the heat unbearable and it lost us many hours of our first day in Genoa. I feel sorry for whoever was forced to sleep in those other rooms. To whomever runs this hotel- invest in better air conditioning! The rest of the stay was by no means perfect, but for the price paid everything was acceptable apart from the temperature. What a shame.

Aspetti positivi:1) Posizione buona in via Balbi. Tutte le principali attrazioni della città raggiungibili a piedi 2)Parcheggio interno a 15 euro al giorno.
Aspetti negativi : Membri dello staff menefreghisti e per nulla accoglienti o disponibili a risolvere problemi dei clienti. Camera con TV non funzionante (non si vedeva nessun canale), bagno strettissimo e scomodo, aria condizionata rumorosa ma che era come se non ci fosse, doccia rotta. Abbiamo segnalato per ben 3-4 volte il malfunzionamento della TV , i membri dello staff rispondevano :'ok controlleremo'. Risultato: mai riparata. E i membri della reception non ci hanno dato nemmeno spiegazioni , non ci hanno chiesto scusa alla fine. Se ne sono semplicemente fregati.

Personale gentile, attento e disponibile. Posizione ottima. Unica pecca l'hotel si vede che è datato, e avrebbe bisogno di una bella ristrutturazione. Se torneremo a Genova per una notte, alloggeremo di nuovo qui. Grazie per la disponibilità!!!
