This hotel was the private home of a Nobel family from hundreds of years ago (sorry I forget how many years). It was in a pedestrian zone, so there are no cars. but the hotel offered a tuktuk to pick us up at the parking garage where they have a special deal. The hotel was impeccably renovated, and there was a beautiful room on the third floor. It was a combination, library and recreation room with a view of the square. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable and the linens were good quality. They had a nice breakfast on the top floor. The area is quite nice with lots of shopping. It’s a short distance from the. Cathedral but the church next to the hotel was just as impressive(see photo). The staff was very nice. I would go out of my way to stay there again.

Bellissimo hotel in un palazzo storico nel cuore del porto antico di Genova. Pensavo di spendere molto di più. Fate attenzione ai carrugi: bellissimi, ma ci si perde con facilità. Maps vi aiuta ma non troppo, li in mezzo la rete fatica a connettersi. Ero a Genova per un congresso ma penso che ci tornerò come turista.
