Hotel an bester Lage in einem wunderschönen historischen Palazzo. Man kann sich nicht sattsehen an den ganzen Wandmalereien, Stukaturen, usw. Die Zimmer sind aber sehr modern umgebaut mit Beibehaltung des historischen Charmes. Sehr freundliches Personal! Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Alles ist vorhanden - mitteleuropäisch, britisch und natürlich italienisch mit den im Nachbarhaus gemachten excelenten Dolci. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist mehr als erfüllt.

It's not often you get a chance to stay in a city centre palazzo, so grab this one (if you are in Genova). The building is carefully restored so in the hall and stairs you see and sense the history of the place, while the rooms are modern and comfortable. The church in the courtyard immediately in front looks worn from the outside, but is overwhelmingly beautiful on the inside, definitely also worth a visit.

Ho pubblicato poche recensioni su Google ed è da tanto tempo che non ne scrivo. Però per questo bellissimo hotel e a distanza di quasi due settimane dal soggiorno in famiglia, ho il piacere di lasciare il massimo punteggio.
Ho letto alcune decine di recensioni precedenti e devo dire che rispecchiano quanto vissuto, anche su alcuni punti "deboli".
Ci sono luoghi e persone che però lasciano un bel ricordo, facendo evaporare eventuali pecche. L'hotel Palazzo Grillo ha avuto questo effetto.
Il dettaglio, il pelo nell'uovo e altre piccolezze si possono trovare ovunque. Però nel complesso siamo stati davvero bene, ospitati con molta gentilezza e in un'atmosfera incantevole.
Può apparire scomodo se avete bambini piccoli col passeggino o se avete problemi a camminare qualche centinaio di metri per i caruggi. Ma il fascino di Genova e un elegante palazzo del 500 meritano questo piccolo sforzo.
Ci torneremo senz'altro.
