Friendly, trendy ;-) neighbourhood restaurant serving an Inventive food menu that is reworked every few years. The latest reworking is not quite up to the standard of previous reinventions, IMO.

Marvellous cocktails from bar staff who know what they are doing.

I miss the old Dillingers with its shiny green and black diner vibe. The revamp has turned it into the business lounge at Birmingham Airport. Food overpriced and boring.

Had a brilliant evening here. Food was excellent, not a huge vegetarian selection on the menu, but they were incredibly tasty. I had the charred leeks and mushroom ravioli - delicious!
Fish (tuna steak and halibut) also very good. Dialon was an excellent waiter and atmosphere was smooth.
First time here - but we will definitely be back!

Really nice brunch here, food came quickly and was super filling. I was surprised that they only had filter coffee but it was also quite tasty so no issues. Prices do let them down as I was really shocked to be charged €4 for each small cup of black coffee.I would still come back to try something else as the food was really good! But the price of the coffee left a sour taste in my mouth.

Went recently for brunch. Nice varied menu and not just usual standard offerings. Food was tasty. Cocktails were delicious and very expertly made. Despite not being packed and having lots of staff, we struggled at times to get the attention of a server when we wanted to order extra drinks or get the bill etc. Overall a pleasant experience.

First visit, busy Friday night and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Good background music and easy to hear conversation across table. Food was outstanding, especially the scallops & tuna tostadas! Lovely cocktails, margaritas had a kick and finished with some flawless sours.
Would recommend, lovely fit out.

Awful experience for my first visit at Dillingers. We arrived into restaurant on time for our booking and stood for 20mins without any approach from staff. Eventually we were guided to a table only to discover that they had forgotten of other diners who where also waiting for a table before our booking which got uncomfortable so we decided to leave. It was a complete mess of management.

A Friday night out with the girls before Christmas!

They didn't have a table for us when we arrived, and had to move other people to accommodate us even though we had pre-booked. Both of our courses had delays, with only two of us being served while waiting another 10 minutes for the third starter, and the main course for my friend was forgotten about so had to be made, and by the time it came myself and my other friend were finished with our mains. They removed this from the bill but overall the service was very poor and as much as I understand it is a busy time of year, it ruined the experience for us. It was a shame as I’ve been before and loved it, but was a completely different experience this time round.

The food here is so nice!
Find it very strange that they don’t make coffee in house & don’t have a coffee machine?
But we didn’t mind as there are so many coffee places around

Excellent dinner here recently. The smaller starter dishes were probably the highlight for us. Oysters were excellent. Tuna tostadas were delicious. Great cocktails as well, and friendly service.

I came here for an early Sunday brunch with a large group of friends and a few kids. We reserved ahead and our table was ready when we arrived. The place is nice and kid friendly, however the service was bad and the food nothing to brag about. When we arrived we started with ordering coffee and we were surprised by the lack of coffee options (only black coffee is available) and the time needed to get a couple of carafes of coffee! Also the mugs provided are thick and make coffee cold. I had the crab cakes Benedict and there was so much filler that I could not feel the flavor of crab and the poached eggs had semi-hard not runny yolks.

I stopped going because of a very aggressive chef I heard shouting several times at staff while we were there eating. I read recently that he’s no longer there so I look forward to returning. Lovely staff, great owner.

Loved my experience at Dillingers. Probably the best Margarita in Dublin to finish off the "melt in your mouth" beer battered fish sandwich. Great fun. We had a good-sized party of eight, and Lily and the Manager treated us so personally. 100% recommend.
