Would give them 6 stars if it was possible. It is one of the best, if not the best camping ground we’ve ever been. A beautiful setting, nice atmosphere, super clean and tidy. Well organised too. Perrine was so friendly and helpful. You really feel welcome. We went too late in the season to experience the chateau dinners but I’m sure they are amazing because these people put there heart and soul in it. Highly, highly recommended!

Chateau Monfreville is blissful. Beautiful setting, peaceful and friendly. Perrine and Thibault are excellent hosts and the chances are you’ll make new friends with other campers, especially if you join one of the outdoor evening meals.
This was our 2nd visit. A wonderful experience, and we’ll be back next year.

Highly recommend. Great facilities and good location for beach visits, hikes and close to d-day sites and museums. We had a delicious meal cooked by Perrine and Thilbault on the first night. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us with great recommendations for activities nearby. There was also sheltered areas for cooking & eating if needed.

A wonderful camping experience in a beautiful and serene setting. The atmosphere is peaceful, and everything is impeccably clean, clearly managed with care and love by Perrine and Thibault. The swimming pool is a delightful feature, and the location is ideal for visiting Ohama beach, etc. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway and is great for families.
Family that run it are always really helpful and friendly and regularly do food nights which are highly sociable.
