Of course it is not attractive like the Abomey palace bit still with a good guide shows how things were going in the King palace. Avec un peu d'imagination, on ne s'étonnerait pas de croiser dans l'une des cours "la reine d'un jour" ou les rois Sodji ou Toffa. La visite de ce palais présente un intérêt certain pour une bonne appréhension historique et ethnologique des anciens royaumes qui composent le Bénin. Les rois de Porto-Novo, ennemis héréditaires de ceux d'Abomey n'avaient pas grand chose à envier à ces derniers.
