Excellent museum about the Paras attack on the nazi German gun battery for D Day. Also a Dakota aircraft you can climb aboard. Interesting videos and displays shown in the concrete battery installations bring wartime scene and sounds to life.

Très beau site retraçant impeccablement le déroulement de la prise de la batterie de Merville par les Anglais. De façon "ludique", le parcours cinématographique m' a beaucoup émue. Les témoignages des survivants sont touchants.

Several bunkers in a big area. A big plane you could not get inside. We chose this as the ww2 museum in Normandy to visit because it was relatively safe for our two small kids (only one bunker with war sound and visiual effects). For adults I guess this is not the one you should choose. This is more of a memorial than a traditional museum.

Ein tolles Museum, man hat mehere kleinere Bunker. Es ist perfekt bei gutem Wetter. Ein paar Denkmäler sind auch auf dem Gelände verteilt. Auch ein Bomber ist vor Ort. Der Ausflug hat mir auf jedenfall gefallen.
O museu em si estava fechado. Mas nos fundos, por um acesso lateral, é possível entrar no recinto em que estão máquinas de guerra e marcos de homenagem a soldados e oficiais. Muito bacana.
Pour les amateurs de souvenirs de guerre ce lieu est un endroit magnifique à visiter plein d'émotions a certain endroit on peut vraiment ressentir ce qu'on vécu ces soldats .

Loved it, was a really interesting walk around the museum site. Loved the videos, only thing is that I would shorten the wait between the videos replaying.
Très bien sauf la dame a l accueil y faudrait lui signaler que les visiteurs ne sont pas des chiens et que si cela lui dérange de répondre poliment aux visiteurs il doit y avoir le ballet et la serpillière a passé et quelques poubelle à vidé !!!
