HÔTEL ST-THOMAS

This was my first time to Montreal. Traveling with a few others, I was tasked to find a hotel. I know we wanted to stay in this area and as a fan of small, boutique hotels, I was thrilled to discover Hotel St-Thomas, which perfectly fit our needs.

As soon as we walked in the door, I knew I was going to like the hotel. This is a rehab building with new modern building added on for the guestrooms. Our room wasn't ready when we tried to check in around 1pm, so they stored out luggage and we went out to explore the neighborhood. Upon returning, we got into the room and were pleasantly surprised. Modern, clean, well-appointed with a generous size bathroom.

We had a positive experience interacting with the staff, who seemed friendly and seemed to be cross trained. It's always reassuring to know that the person checking us in can also serve us a drink at the bar. There was a little communication hiccup with their fitness center and daily passes - not sure if this program is all ironed out yet.

Overall, very good experience. I would definitely stay here again!
