Simplement wow!!! On peut aller à pied visiter la ville, les restaurants et la piste cyclable.

Lits très confortable et lieux très propre.

We stayed at Flotel Valleyfield for the 2024 eclipse. There were two couples in our group and Flotel honored our request to have adjoining cabins. Thank you for that! The cabin was cozy with comfortable accommodations including a queen bed, mini-fridge and fluffy cushions for the firepit on the outside deck. The rooftop patio was great for viewing the eclipse which we experienced at 100% totality. During our stay, we did encounter one maintenance issue which was handled promptly. The pump to our shower had malfunctioned and after texting the company, they had sent someone and it was repaired in a few hours. We totally enjoyed this new experience as we had never stayed on a floating hotel other than a cruise ship. Would recommend to anyone seeking an adventure. There is some wildlife in the area, we saw plenty of birds and also a beaver. We also love that it was convenient to local restaurants so there was no need to drive everywhere. Overall, a great place to stay and sightsee.

I chose this place as I thought this would be a fun concept but I was very disappointed after staying just two nights. The reviews I initially saw said that this place was clean, and to my standards, it was not. I really did not like the smell, it reeked of moldy wood. Also when I first came in, I touched one of the screen doors and it fell right on the ground. I stayed here in February, which in hindsight was not a good idea. I can see how this place can be fun in the summer, but honestly it was a horrible experience. I was in the area for work and I do not have a vehicle, this area is very dead this season and it was very hard for me to get food and a lift. Did not enjoy coming back to this place after a day of work. Also, for a place by the river, youd expect them to be prepared and have a dehumidifier, but they didn’t and thats is probably why the place smells like mold.

Le flotel est downtown, dans le trafic!
Cabine dysfonctionnel, espace perdu partout, aucune ventilation, en canicule c'est pénible, mal nettoyer, sans commodité. J'ai souvent été dans des logis autosuffisant, et c'est de loin le plus déplaisants et mal pensé de tous!
Je ne recommande pas du tout!
Sans oublier le déjeuner laisser dans la Cabine à la chaleur depuis je ne sais combien de temps, fruits moisis. Voir photos.
